We loved pretty much everything about our stay at Viva Blue. It is very family friendly and my 5/8yr olds loved the entertainment and activities. Huge shout out to chef Victor who was absolutely amazing, my daughter is coeliac and this was our first trip away since diagnosis, he made it very easy, showed us all the gluten free options, and even offered to cook options for her from scratch which he did 3 evenings. Certainly there were some things that pointed to being too busy (slow service esp in el patio), and some housekeeping quibbles, but we really enjoyed our stay

Very disappointed with attitude of reception staff when we spoke to them about the difficulty experienced due to the cycling race 312 that was been held should have been advised this was on before we arrived at the hotel

There was no hotel parking as advertised, only street parking. No coffee or tea in rooms. Nothing at all is included. Food was mediocre and the hotel grounds were good.

This hotel is great, but made fantastic by the staff. All staff from the waiters, bar staff, cleaners and gardeners are all extremely friendly and attentive. Be aware that you are only allowed to eat at the A la Carte restaurant once during the week within your all inclusive deal. This was not something I was made aware of until I tried to book a table for the second time.

The property was really nice. Our room was nice, besides my kids uncomfortable bed. They had a pull up sofa and it wasn’t that great. Other than that, we were happy with our stay. The buffet food was delicious. However for those on diet like myself was hard to say no to the food and alcoholic drinks, so If you’re on diet of some sort, I suggest you don’t book all inclusive. The staff was terrific. They’re very attending and helpful, especially the waiting staff at the buffet. They were ‘flying’ to get our drinks, refills, and made sure everything was okay. The waiting staff surely makes a difference on a hotel stay especially when you’re all inclusive and they’re always there to help you from kids wanting things non stop to preparing capuccino on the go. I would definitely come back to Palma. And I can surely see myself living there. Very safe and beautiful little towns. Thank you Palma for your hospitality:)

Great pool, gym and bike facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was, in general, pretty good. Looked to be great for families, too, with lots of activities and staffers who genuinely loved kids. Recommended for families and triathletes. The biggest downside was the location next to a large wetlands and the resulting plague of mosquitoes.

I loved the endless space, welcoming staff & cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel offers lots of space with varying amenities such as adults/kids pools, 24 hour gym & lots of activities!

Property was nice but really caters to family with kids. Didn’t like the fact the spa was cold. As far as cleanliness, floors were not swept and didn’t receive wash cloths, ever.

The property was always clean and had good amenities for children, including activities clubs etc. Swimming pools were also very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We went half board, and the food was also very good. Location wise it is very close to the beach and a supermarket. Bus stop is close to the hotel, but be aware that they tend to get very busy.

Not one for writing reviews but this hotel was amazing and everything we could have hoped for! We travelled with a 5 and 8 year old and both were entertained all day everyday, so much to do for kids. The food was amazing we didn’t have to leave! Staff were also amazing and great with the children. Beach is a two minute walk and also lovely and shallow.

Just got home from a week at Viva Blue. This is a great hotel-great room, great pool, staff were so friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the location was perfect-close to the lovely beach. If you have kids, they have a great kids club team, who really make the kids feel welcome. We had to practically drag our two out of the hotel this morning! We received notice(through email) less than 24 hours before our arrival that there was a technical issue with our hotel room and that we would spend our first 2 nights in a different hotel. The management team were very unprofessional and difficult to deal with

This hotel had a number of different pools, some good for families, some good for toddlers, some reserved for adults. This, along with various other programs, makes this an excellent hotel for families. Further, the rooms are spacious. The store on site was an excellent touch. The main issue is the quality of the sofa beds. The rollout beds were of very low quality, and the mattresses were not top of the line.

5 star service from every single member of staff, beautiful reception and fantastic amenities/pools. Great choice of tasty, very fresh food. Buffet busy but plenty to go around. Waiter drink service in buffet in evenings, lovely but difficult to get hold of a waiter for a drink as they always seem very rushed at night (clearing/setting up and serving)... Sometimes felt like a second drink isnt encouraged but isnt denied either. Patio bar service and food excellent though.

This is definitely kids friendly hotel with a lot of entertainment & facilities. “+” Carlos and the rest of the entertainment team were great & very welcoming. Hotel is located 5 min walk to the beach & other local amenities. Evening entertainment was good & different each evening (Magic Bubble show was amazing) & variety of activities available during the day, we had great fun at foam party. Reception/housekeeping staff are welcoming, helpful & friendly. Hotel grounds are very impressively tidy & well looked after. Gym is well equipped & cleaned. No need to worry about sun loungers as there was a great policy in place to prevent people to reserve them early morning. “-“ Our apartment (lake view) was in need of modernisation (bathroom & air conditioner in particular). Pool Bar staff was not as friendly and attentive as other members. Overall we had a great family holidays & we would recommend this hotel to our family/friends & hope to return again.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday with our 1 year old daughter. The apartments were well equipped. We upgraded to a room with a garden which gave us much needed extra space when our little one wanted to play. We stayed half board and were really happy with the different food choices each night. Lots to keep adults, children and people with food allergies in a varied diet for a week. The big icing on the cake for the hotel was how lovely all the staff were, so friendly and so lovely with us and our daughter.

This hotel was ideal for our holiday. My partner was training for the Ironman later in the year and I knew that the only way I would get him to go away was to find a hotel that catered for his training. This was perfect whilst he cycled during the day I had my own private pool to lounge around.

I liked the 25m swimming pool and the 24hr gym. I liked the Caprice buffet style restaurant. I liked our bedroom and walk in shower. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pools and kids play area. I like the spa area. I liked the reception staff, restaurant staff, cleaning staff and spa staff, all were very welcoming and friendly. I had a wonderful sports massage. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach. I did not like the fact that the room walls were thin, although I think we had an interconnecting room as we could hear our neighbours having a gathering in the wee small hours after midnight, being loud and playing music. We had to call reception twice to get them to be more considerate. They fortunately checked out the next day. For the rest of our stay it was peaceful. The management telephoned our room the next day to apologise for the misfortune, this was a nice and welcome gesture. There was not much evening entertainment but I was not too bothered about this as there were some good movies on TV (In English).

We had an amazing time during our stay at Viva Blu in Muro. This hotel is clean. The rooms were spacious enough to move around in a wheel chair. The little kitchen had all we needed to prepare our mid-day meal and snacks. Our balcony overlooked the pool which was lovely. The only problem we had was heat control. Our room was hot even though it was not hot outside. We left our balcony door open for some cool fresh air but that resulted in a mosquito attack that we were not prepared for. Our friends in 4 other rooms had the same issue. We loved the services and enjoyed massages, facials, and manicures. The indoor spa was nice. The Sauna and steam rooms were good and hot, but the jacuzzi was not at all hot which was a big let down. The swimming pools were outstanding although the main pools where the kids swam were unheated ( down right cold). The adult pools were heated, quiet, and lively. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the public beach. That was worth a trip most days. The hotel buffet food service was alright. Everyone could find something. Drinks were not included in the evening board price so you could still end up with a health bill even while drinking water. Costs for the off sight restaurants/cafes were typically over priced (tourist prices) so I think eating the hotel buffet worked out the best. The after dinner entertainment was fun. The kids club kept the “littles” occupied. The drinks went down easily at the end of a long day.

Great for sports and families
Great hotel. Really good sports facilities including bike storage. Great room and great staff. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was good. The coffee was very variable.

Excellent Resort
Excellent resort and location with lots of amenities for couples and families,also very close to beach,shops and restaurants. Hotel staff were brilliant...friendly and professional. Hotel room/apartment was spacious and very clean. Would recommend staying at Viva Blue and Spa.

Excellent Easter break
Fantastic hotel in a great location . Travelled in April , majority of people staying here were training for triathlon , Iron man events . Excellent sport facilities at the hotel to accommodate this . We upgraded to half board whilst here , definitely worth it , food was excellent with plenty of variety . We will definitely be looking at returning!

Amazing!!!!
This was an amazing holiday. Our girls (7 and 4) had a fabulous time. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Carlos, Ellen and Emilie were outstanding. The facilities are excellent for a family - pool, playground, bouncy castle, cafe, indoor pool, serenity pool for adults..... Overall the best holiday the girls have enjoyed (after Disney World)

Great friendly hotel for family stay
We stayed in Viva blue 7 days in February and our stay was fantastic. The hotel is great with beautiful, well maintained garden, many outdoors pools and one inside pool with sauna and jacuzi, gym and playground. Everything is well taken care off and clean. The area itself i would imagine during peak season is lively and full of things to do, but in February it was quiet. But we prefered it this way. Beach is 2 minutes away so great location. we will definately recommend this hotel.

I’ll recommend the hotel to people with little kids. We got a room with an ugly view. When we complained they pushed a higher priced room on us which we took as we wanted to enjoy our stay. We went in September and somedays the pools water was too cold to swim in. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the kids enjoyed it.

Fantastic hotel, incredible staff and service!
We stayed at Viva Blue & Spa for three nights and didn't want to go home! Halloween week was creative and fun, staff and guests get really dressed up in impressive costumes. The food buffet is amazing!!!!! Definitely recommend half board or all inclusive and don't forget to try the cocktails (Viva) .

Lovely family friendly hotel
We had a wonderful holiday! The resort is very well maintained and has a nice relaxed feel about it! The hotel smells lovely when you walk into reception and the attention to deal with statues in the garden is a nice touch! The premium ground floor room was spacious and had a wonderful garden to relax in! The evening buffet dinner was particularly spectacular! Only €18 euros each and our little boy was free! Gloria was very friendly and always smiling! We ended up eating there every night as it was such great value! The entertainment in the evening was great and varied! The kids show was good fun for our little one. The only thing I would fault is the food available in the day time was no where near the standard of the evening! And the staff at the pool restaurant weren't very attentive or friendly (we ordered a coffee after we ate our food which was very mediocre and then the same waiter came back 2 mins later and asked if we wanted dessert or coffee)! Playa de Muro beach is just 5 mins walk away and beautiful! And he nature park is only about 15 mins walk which is certainly worth a trip. We would definitely think to visit again.

A very nice hotel
Not far from the beach (300m), good condition, nice staff, lots of sports activities and options, Take a room with "moor" view. We decided to eat outside and there were lots of good restaurants around - we had breakfast in the room and then selected restaurants online (you can find really good ones but you need reserve in advance and you need to spend sime time researching). Amazingly good value and good quality (excellent combination). Very pleased with hotel guests - international, lots of kids, very nice people indeed (very friendly, interesting people, etc). Take a car - there is so much to see around. Overall very pleased - excellent conditions and much cheaper than hotels next to the beach
