Was put in a room where the bathroom was at the foot of the bed and there was about a 30cm /12" gap for you to get to the loo due to a bidet being behind the door. When we asked to change rooms we were told we would have to pay 105 Euros to upgrade as they had no other rooms available. Pretty suspicious as the hotel was mainly empty. I have had five happy holidays at this hotel but sadly the quality has dropped since the Thomas Cook thing. There was no entertainment and the food was a little repetitve.

Beautiful vews across the bay. This was our second visit to this hotel, but food was not up to the standard of our previous visit. Staff were excellent and very pleasant. Lovely clean hotel. We had a room on the second floor with a lovely sea view. Hope to return soon.

Great food, helpful staff, clean spacious room, fantastic view of sea from our room only downside was lack of evening entertainmen but we went out of season. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay agsin.

We enjoyed our stay very much, it was a very nice week long break. Hotel is right on the cove to the beach, so we did a lot of snorkelling to which there are plenty of fish to see. It was very quiet, but we liked that. I think in the highs of summer it would be a different place, a lot more going on. Food was a well spread, not brilliant for veggies but got by enough.

View from our 8th floor unit was breathtaking. Unfortunately the food in general was not good at all. We ended going across the street to Shetland Cafe 2 nights for good food. We also got the feeling particularly at the pool bar that we we were not really popular, maybe because I t is the end of the season and they are ready to shut down till March. In any event the view overcomes a lot of warts and I would stay here again if it was cheaper.

The views were stunning ; unfortunately we arrived in the middle of Thomas cook insolvency and we had very little entertainment & and the standard of food deteriorated

Listening to other guests - the hotel has gone down hill this last year. We found it ok but many guests disappointed. Food ok. Nothing special. Usual all inclusive - different soup / different pizza topping / different carved meat daily. Beautiful location. Looking right on to the sea. Shocking sun bed reservation system and for this reason I would not return. To have a bed reserved for u it costs 10 euros per bed per day. If the bed hadn’t been reserved, a number stays on the bed and nobody can lie on it. Which means a whole front row of beds at the front looking out to sea are all empty. Just a dreadful system and this should be stopped because it put a real negative edge on our holiday. Wasn’t allowed to pay extra to keep the room a little later so check out at 11am and didn’t fly until 10pm. Courtesy room pretty grim. Entertainment ok. Could be louder as not much atmosphere but pretty decent quality acts. Rooms modern and clean. Very expensive week for what you get - however this is probably down to the beautiful location.

I'm sorry that the sun bed system didn't like you but we had more than 500 guests in the hotel and there are not space for so many sun beds. With the reservation option we give the chance to the guest that want to get up later has the possibility to have a sun bed. We need feedback like yours so that we can carry on improving. Lovely views and close to the sea. Disappointed with the entertainment in the Cave bar - not much variety, always full and hard to access for disabled people. Enjoyed the pianist in the lounge bar. Food was good, plenty of choice. No shops around apart from a supermarket, we made a couple of purchases at the hotel shop. Not enough sun umbrellas and guests were putting towels on chairs before breakfast.

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. You can tell right away that they put most of their efforts and money on the lounging areas and dining. Once you get to your room, the bed is hard, the pillows are up to par, towels in the bathroom are rough and some have holes, once I opened the trash can in the bathroom it still had trash in it from previous guests, they don’t provide bathrobes and slippers, and it smelt of mold. I was in the fifth floor so maybe it’s only four stars from 6 above. I don’t know. But this is not a 4 star hotel. Location, however, is great. Food is great as well. Also, the cleaning in the room needs improvement.

The views from this hotel are spectacular. The rooms are clean and spacious,beds very comfortable, bathroom large. Pool area well maintained,loads of sunbeds. On a small beach too so if you wanted it's less than 5 minite walk. Only negative was the selection of food at pool bar. Very poor. Breakfast was fab. Hotel entertainment was so fun, Ryan was hilarious. I loved it, would definitely return

Lovely hotel and staff, but unless you book with Thomas Cook you are not aware of all facilities. Even the hotels information website does not tell you everything, such as you can pay to reserve sunbeds and unbrellas. There was not enough to go round for the people who did not know this. Also very difficult to get a drink, even water during the day. A wait of around 20 minutes in 35 degrees as only one or two people serving a full hotel. You could go up 5 floors to the restaurant if you wanted to fill your water bottles when open. Shame as the staff and hotel were lovely.

The kindness and helpfulness of the staff are 5 Star level. The property is very clean, good aircon, incredibly comfortable beds, excellent breakfast lunch and dinner buffets, good WiFi connection. Only negatives would be no food or snacks available after 9pm and not a lot of options open in the immediate vicinity (you’d have to get a taxi into Magaluf). Would have been great if water was replaced in the rooms every day

The Sentido Cala Vinas is in a great location overlooking a small bay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful, pleasant and professional. We chose B&B and the varied choices for breakfast was excellent with hot and cold options available. We will be back later this year for another short break.
