Excellent facilities and sun beds readily available throughout the day. Pool a little small but minor inconvenience. Manager in dining area was excellent as we had a party member with a nut allergy. He went above and beyond to make sure they were safe. Only downside was that we all came down with a two day sickness and diarrhoea bug apart from the nut allergy member. Medical centre across the road was aware that the hotel may have had a problem and they were monitoring it. Nothing mentioned by the hotel other than hand sanitizer was provided at meal times and gloves were available.

Nice but exterior needs a refresh
Plenty of food choice at each meal sitting. Tea/Coffee and fruit juice only served with breakfast - would have liked non alcoholic drinks included with lunch and dinner (at no ectra cost). Milk for cerals was not cooled. A/C units sometimes dripped onto floor or diners!! Exterior needs a refresh. Reception was roomy with friendly staff - in fact all staff friendly. Lifts are too small and would benefit from a good servicing. Dining room staff very polite - tables cleaned and re-laid quickly. Room was comfy but bed sheets too small for matress so often became untucked. Overall room was comfortable. Would stay again.

Food Poisoning
We stayed for 10 days and initially it was all very pleasant until we all ended up with food poisoning. We found out that at the wok station you add what you like to be cooked on a plate and this includes meat. We found out afterwards that they take the plate, which included raw chicken, they cooked at and then added this back onto the same plate therefore contaminating the food. I raised this with the reception whom initially didn’t believe me and only until I went back down and saw it happening again and raised this in the restaurant they apologised sincerely and were going to raise this with management.

The truth of the matter
This was our second visit to this hotel,although generally overall the hotel was good its now getting dated and could do with a revamp. The food wasn’t as good as before COVID closed the hotel for the best of 2 years, there was always something to eat and you would never go hungry but they seemed to have cut the themed evening meals out but I don’t think that has happened to this hotel I feel it the same across the whole of Spain and Europe so time will tell

The food wasnt that great There are no duvets in the rooms - only sheets. The pillows were very uncomfortable- more like throw pillows. The view was nice though.

I would have loved a nice lounge upstairs next to reception. Somewhere where you would like to have a drink/cocktail before and after your evening meal. The bar area downstairs was uninviting on an evening. It lacked atmosphere, it was cold and not a place to relax. The staff however did a marvellous job. They were efficent, friendly under some trying conditions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but go out on an evening 💕

3.5 star hotel at best.
This is a dated hotel with great potential. I would argue that it is a 4* hotel. The food is good though. What the Hotels.com website doesn’t tell you: 1. The gym only opens 1000-1400 and 1500-1830. 2. The gym is closed on Sundays 3. The lifts are slow and unreliable so be prepared to use the stairs. 4. If you want a kettle you have to hire it for €2.40 per day. 5. If you want to use the jacuzzi or sauna/steam room there’s an additional charge of €10 per day 6. They have VIP sun loungers and Bali beds that cost an extra €20 per day…that are right next to the kids pool, so never get used. 7. You can use the iron, for a €10 deposit, but they don’t have ironing boards. 8. There are no drinks included with dinner, not even a water, tea or coffee. 9. Your key card will demagnetise every other day. 10. The ‘bar’ looks like a community centre. 11. The room and bedding will smell musty. I had to buy drain cleaner and air fresheners. Such a shame as the location for bars, restaurants, beaches and public transport is great.

6day much needed rest
Had a really good time at this hotel. Bus stop right outside, supermarket and couple places to eat across the road. Pool area very clean. Reception staff very friendly. Overall would give it a 10+ would definitely go back.

As we entered the lobby we were quite surprised bu the beautiful architecture, design and overall pleasing entrance. The clerks were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Activities for the kids was also a positive. The down side is the room we stayed was a bit outdated and could use a new color, furniture, and overall up keep. I would stay there again however and recommend anyone to stay there.

Childrens Animation Team went above and beyond to keep the children entertained. Aziz (waiter in restaurant) exceptional service and always so helpful and pleasant). Food needs to be warmer and for a 4* Hotel I would have expected them to use better cuts of meat (which was often tough and fattty).

There is absolutely no staff presence, personality or character. Arrival is a complete non event and rude. The food is pretty attrocious as it is set in the 1980s with canned vegetables, baked beans and hot lights so old that the food is cold. The food was so poor that nothing whatsoever was of interest to eat and so we ate out all the time and simply used the hotel as a bed and base to sun bathe. In need of some serious changes, renovation and management to bring it up to the 21st century. Sadly it felt like a complete wast of money.

We love the view from the pool area of the property and its views towards Benalmadena. The hotel public areas are spacious. Maybe it is time for an update in the bedrooms, decor and soft furnishings are getting a little tired.

Was a little far away from main town area. Benalmádena doesnt have a lot to offer for older people and as our weather wasnt good we ended up struggling to stay at the resort. This hotel is a typical Spanish 4 star property. There were a lot of Spanish staying as it was Easter holidays. The entertainment was mostly in Spanish.

Bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. Right beside a great beach which is where we spent most of our days due to music being played constantly by the pool. The location is great being right beside the seafront and a short taxi ride to the centre. So a quieter location at night. Didn't like the bad smell at the entrance, the bins may have been behind a wall but you could not miss the smell. The pools are small, so it was ideal as an autumn break, when the hotel was not so busy, I can imagine the pool being very busy in he height of summer.
