Golf visit
Stayed here for a week during the British Open at Portrush. Very comfortable room, helpful staff and great breakfast. We enjoyed our drive back & forth to the Antrim coast. About a 40 minute drive but easy route. Not much to see in Draperstown, but a quiet place to stay and we really appreciated the excellent restaurant having walked round the golf course in the rain! Lovely glass of wine in the bar! Would recommend as good value and a lovely Irish welcome.

No corridors! Our room opened onto a lovely outdoor space. Quiet street for parking. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I’m lucky enough to return to this beautiful part of the world.

Arriving at hotel we told them we would be cancelling 2 nights as travel from area was difficult..we were told not a problem and could pay in morning..in the morning we were told we had to pay for all 3 nights. Cancellation policy stated would only have to pay for first night and we expected to pay for 2 nights not 3. Not happy !

the stay was great, the Hotel.com bit was not, Hotel.com ask if you want to pay at the hotel and then reserve the money which while not taking does lower the balance and days later still shows against my account and I have paid the hotel as well, fast taking money for a room that was not reserved for me so I arrived and had to wait 2 hours for a room to be made ready all the faulty of Hotel.com not the Hotel who bent over backward to help and sort the problem out effectively took (ish) the money after asking if I wanted to pay the hotel to which I said yes and then not making the reservation with the hotel

Apparo - a true find in the Sperrins
The Apparo was a lovely little boutique 3* hotel in the centre of Draperstown. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. Service always with a smile. The rooms was what expect from a 3* hotel with comfortable beds and very clean. The restaurant was also very good for lunch or dinner. The breakfast was very nice although there wasn’t any yogurts or muesli. The cooked breakfast was lovely though. Would definitely stay here again.

Love night away
Just an overnight stay, and attended the Win Pairing evening. The accommodation is lovely, very clean and quite. Bed was very comfortable. The wine and food where also lovely would recommend to people as a nice little break away from the rat race.

Fantastic stay in a boutique hotel
Staff couldn't be more helpful, family room was exceptional with very high quaility furnishings and a lovely personalised breakfast. You feel you are staying in a treetop experience. Shower was very powerful. Visit the International Seamus Heany museum whilst you are there ( 10 mins away) to get a sense of the wonderful Irish poet. A real find in Draperstown.

It was a lovely hotel rooms were lovely and clean

Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 night and have to say from arriving until we checked out we were made to feel so welcome. The bedroom was very clean and the bed really comfortable! We had an evening meal at the hotel and the food was delicious and breakfast was equally as good. We will definitely be back.

Misleading information
The address given for the hotel was Magherafelt. We drove there and asked in the Information Centre; we were told that the Apparo was actually in Draperstown, nine miles away and actually on the route we had travelled on to get to Magherafelt. Draperstown had little to offer other than the Apparo !

Superb stay at the Apparo Hotel, I liked the quirky bedroom layouts. They were spotlessly clean and functional in every manner. The food was excellent, I ate there both evenings. Breakfast was served by a very lovely woman who made you feel at home immediately. On top of that the breakfast was the best I've had in years. I would recommend to anyone, well done to the staff at Apparo. Graeme Edinburgh.

That was the worse hotel I've ever been in my life. TV wasn't working, the light in the bathroom wasn't working, the phone was out of use therefore to contact the reception I had to use my own phone ! The cleanliness of the room was very low, there was dust everywhere and I wasn't able to open the window. I've reported all these issue to a member of the staff, asking to pass my complaint to the manager. Nobody came back to me to apologise or anything like that. When I've asked to speak to a manager there wasn't one, the only person I could speak to was the chef from the kitchen ! Absolutely shocking ! I never seen something like that in my life. Please do not book this hotel is a waste of money. Not enjoyable stay ! I was very disappointed I would rate this hotel as 2 star no more than that!

I stayed here for one night with 2 friends driving through the area. Clean and comfortable room, was not huge but enough room for all of us. They were accommodating to our late check after 9pm, seems like the hotel staff run the bar/restaurant too. Had a great Irish breakfast in the morning that was included in stay. Had other cereal and juice available too.

Wonderful boutique hotel, a real find!
We stayed at the Apparo for two nights. The room was perfect, cozy, comfortable and super clean! The Irish breakfast each morning was fabulous and the staff attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Nice Boutique Hotel in the center of Draperstown
We stayed for one night in this Boutique Hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable beds. Food in the Restaurant was good with very friendly staff. Very varied menu. We would stay there again.

Lovely little hotel
Really enjoyed the stay, room was spotless & the staff very friendly. The beds are amazing & soooo comfortable- didn't want to get out of it. One tiny grumble- the tv is very small, but as we were out most of the time it didn't really worry us!

Nice quite place to stay central to Nth Ireland
I spent 5 nights here whilst doing day trips all around Northern Ireland. The room was very clean, comfy beds and plenty of hot water in the shower. The staff were great but they are only there in the mornings Monday/Tuesday as this place is so quite they don't man a desk all day. There are mobile numbers supplied if you need anything. I had no problem with this what so ever. The Breakfast is great and towards the end of the week there is a restaurant on the premises for dinner. All the meals I had here were delicious.

I booked this weekend break for my daughter and her partner. I was a bit disappointed when they told me their room was at the front of house and saturday night was very noisy. also i had been telling them about the lovely garden at back - but they informed me that this was totally overgrown now. However they enjoyed their stay and complimented the food and staff.

Value for money, good food, minus points in hotel
Very good food, really friendly staff and good location. I had to leave early the following morning, and was pleased my delicious breakfast was ready and waiting and the chef was really nice. Room was clean, tea making facilities were fine and the radiator warmed up quickly. It was a chilly night, so minus points were that the floor consisted of ceramic tiles with no rug and the radiator didn't work in the bathroom. I couldn't get the water warmed up enough in the shower without flooding the 'wet room' floor, so gave up on the idea. The biggest down side for me was the lack of choice of pillow. they were all quite hard and synthetic, so impossible for me to get a good night's sleep.

Nice hotel with very popular restaurant
The rooms looked nice and were arranged around an upstairs patio. Unfortunately the restaurant was so popular that we were unable to try it ourselves but breakfast was very good. The rooms were rather cramped and one of them was situated above the kitchen and the noise and some of the smell percolated up into the room. The mattresses were not as firm as I'd like.
