A distinctly ordinary hotel across from the station across multiple lane highway with uneven road. Quite a few dodgy characters doing their scams. Breakfast sub par.

Nice restful stay after a long overseas flight. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with a marble lined bathroom - even for a reasonable price point. I will return.

It should be a 2 or 3 star hotel. The room was not well clean, there was an empty napkins box in the restroom. My mother found a pubic hair in the bed when she opened it to sleep. WiFi is super weak.

The hotel's location near the train station was the main reason I booked it. The rooms were quite large. I wished it had a coffee maker in the room but it did have a small refrigerator. Unfortunately it was easy to hear what was going on in room besides us. When their alarm went off in the morning, it sounded like it was in my room. For an overnight, it worked out very well.

Staff very helpful.Check in super fast.Room big and spacious.On the downside walls here are so thin you can hear almost everything that is happening in the room next door.Not really a peaceful stay.

This hotel had the shortest glass partition on the shower/tub, not offering much splash stoppage. Otherwise, a nice property with an awesome front desk, very helpful staff.

I’ve stayed in better 2 star hotels!
I’ve stayed in better 2 star hotels sadly. The check in was acceptable and the lobby was clean. However it was raining on my 2nd day and I asked the reception is they had an umbrella I could use. No. The receptionist said they didn’t have any. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The impression I got from the receptionist was that they never carried any. It probably hadn’t rained in Madrid for a few weeks so no excuse. No coffee machine in the room and don’t expect to get any food from the restaurant before 9,00am on a Saturday!

Joya en el centro.
Este hotel es una verdadera joya en el centro de Madrid. Lo único a mejorar es la comodidad del baño. La bañera es muy estrecha y resbaladiza lo que hace un poco estresante el tomar una ducha para las personas mayores.

This place was great! 15min walk to Prado, Reina Sofía, and Atocha station. 5-10min walk to Buen Retiro. There’s also a lovely Italian restaurant ($$$) down the street, Don Giovanni, that I’d highly recommend. This hotel was great overall. Could hear the neighboring room’s TV through the wall but not too bad. Reception was very helpful and the property was very clean. There was also a bidet in the bathroom, which we haven’t see at every hotel in Spain! Only complaint is one of the lights in our bathroom was almost dead so flickering, but that was a room-specific issue.

The front desk was friendly and efficient. The property itself needs some updating, especially the carpeting in the hallways needs to be replaced as it is old and dirty. The room was clean and they did service it every day so that’s a plus but the beds are a too small.

We booked a room with city view and double bed. We were only staying one night and I feel like because of this, we were put in a room with single beds (that's okay) and a window looking into the dark interior corridor. This hotel was overpriced for what was a basic room with no amenities (no kettle, glasses, fridge was locked).

Hotel is not really 4 star in my opinion. It has no kettle or tea making equipment, breakfast is poor. No tomatos or cucumbers, no whole eggs, very liquid scrambled eggs, nothing hot for vegeterians, lack of food when it runs out. It has no restuarant but has a small cafeteria which doesnt have much choice. Rooms have a safe but you are not told that you have to pay refundable 15 euro to obtain old fashion key. Not enough staff at reception to service customers hence long wait to checkin and check out. Walls in rooms paper thin hence noise from adjacent rooms and corridor. The only good thing about this hotel is it is close to railway station and retiro park.
