“Still good...even on the 4th time!”

This hotel is one of the best in Lubbock in my opinion in terms of cost and comfort combined with quality. The staff is friendly, though usually undermanned when I show up with my group at this trip every year. This is my third year in a row staying there and my fourth overall time and I would stay here every time if it works out. Keep up the good work Hawthorn Lubbock!

“A wonderful hotel at a great price.”

The hotel is quite new and conveniently located to TTU. I picked it because of the location and the great deal offered on Expedia.com at the time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The furniture and bed/linens, especally, were very comfortable. It was quiet too, even though the hotel is located close to a highway. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food. Regardless, I highly recommend this hotel to people visiting Lubbock and definitely plan to stay there again.

“Definitely recommend!”

We were quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. We have stayed in several Wyndham hotels but hadn't had an experience with Hawthorn Suites specifically. This was an extremely nice hotel. We had a change in plans just prior to departure on our trip and ended up taking our 3-year-old with us. When we arrived at the hotel, we asked the staff if we could change our room from one king to two beds. They were extremely accomodating and even seemed happy to help! Everything was clean and appeared in very good condition. The only thing I noted was that the walls in the shower looked a little dingy with soap scum and spots; however, everything else was great! We will certainly stay in this hotel ANY TIME we are in Lubbock, Texas!

“The best hotel I've stayed at in Lubbock!!!”

I will never stay anywhere else but here while in Lubbock! The rooms are big and very clean. Staff was professional and nice. A typical continental breakfast is usually not so good but not here. The breakfast was great. This hotel went beyond my expectations! Great decore too!

“Will stay there every time!”

Excellent Hotel!! Great price through Expedia. The room was large with a kitchenette. A nice seating area. The bed was extremely comfortably , Feel to sleep and never moved till the next morning. Hot breakfast was good. The only bad thing I can say is about the check out time. I wish it could have been 12{00 instead of 11:00, After running a few errands it would have been nice to come back to the room to freshen up before lunch.

“Excellent choice”

My son had day surgery at a nearby surgical center. We live out of town and wanted to stay near the doctors for the first night. Our room was excellent for that. He rested well and we were all comfortable. If you find yourself in this situation, I highly recommend using this hotel.

“Very convenient and very nice”

My trip was a combination of business and leisure.... I found the Hawthorne to be in a great location - close to shopping, restaurants and the new Marsha Sharpe Freeway... the room was spacious and clean!

“Second stay”

I really like this hotel. It is perfectly located between shopping and the University. It is quiet, posh and the staff is very helpful. I also found it very affordable especially given how luxurious it is. This was our second stay. We will probably stay here often as we go to Lubbock to shop.

“Excellent One Night Stop”

For me Lubbock was a mere stopping point between Albuquerque and Austin. We had stayed in some more budget accommodation along the way and we were excited to get a good deal on this hotel. It worked out well because the hotel was nice enough to help recharge a bit, and the gym + laundry helped a lot too. It's pretty rare I get a room as spacious as this one or a breakfast as good.
