We had prepaid $300 for a hotel room, sent a note that we were arriving late yet when we arrived, the hotel had given our room out. Never again staying at a Doubletree. Worst service ever. Receptionist offered us to pay an additional $199 for either a dirty but unoccupied room or a room with maintenance issues. We declined and went to a holiday inn.

First night stay the room's A/C was out. They promptly moved me to another room the next morning. The Restaurant and Bar had excellent food and drinks. The city of Lubbock is a little rough. But very nice hotel.

Parking doesn't feel safe. Not in the nicest area, but hotel is nice. Nice restaurant. Tv didn't work upon check in, but they moved me to a different room

The service counter informed us upon checking in that they overbooked their rooms. The room I had selected and paid for was given away. No compensation was offered. Poor customer service!

Bathroom was extremely small with poor lighting. Upon arrival there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Called front desk to let them know but none was delivered. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms were nice and we did not have any problems. The area around the hotel is a little questionable. Lots of foot traffic and a police presence. Park as close to the building as possible.

I was really excited to stay here but was rather disappointed. I could hear every door down my entire hall as it opened and closed. My biggest issue was the hot water. The shower barely got warm and the warm water did not last long. The area is pretty sketchy, but I knew that when I booked. But if you're not from the Lubbock area, be aware. Overall I felt I paid for an upscale hotel and got a Laquinta.

Hotel has a weird smell, Im assuming due to the restaurant in lobby. Check- in was quick and easy. Got to my room, again had a weird smell. Almost like sewage, or if someone took a number 2💩, and the smell still lingered. Toilet did not flush correctly, wanted to overflow. (Probably the target of the smell). The shower was dirty, water stains on glass door, and shower floor. Looked like never been scrubbed or clean properly(also had a weird smell). Later on the evening, someone tried opening my door. Thankfully it did not open, but the person was persistent and kept trying their key, and turning the handle. I yelled at them they had wrong room to go downstairs and fix issue. Then called front desk to ask them if they gave my room to another guest? Clerk said no, they had just started shift and was unaware of recent check-ins. Hotel has high activity and not a quiet place at all. People and children roaming halls being loud. I do not recommend.. will never stay again.

You can hear all the noise happening around you. Not clean in the restrooms & hot water does not get hot and does not stay warm for long time. Never leave reviews but I will for this one. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

The bathroom floors in the corners were funky. You could hear every door open and close in the adjoining room. Some sort of texture could be felt on the bathroom sink counter. Wasn't clean.

Just ok.
We stayed 3 nights. The water never did get hot…it was warm at best. The rooms overlook the lobby and bar area… it was very loud and the bar is open until midnight. We did call the front desk for a remote the first night, and clean towels the second night and the clerk did respond very quickly…so that was a plus. The food was pretty good at the restaurant.

Not What We Expected
When we arrived, the front desk was empty. Another guest said it had been so for an hour. We left for a local bar. Upon returning, it took over an hour to check in. The first room assigned was already occupied. The second was on an upper floor next to the elevator after we requested a quiet room.

A front desk attendant should always be available, so this is very strange. At times, our staff may be assisting other guests or in the back office. Freezing Waters
They Hostess was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The only issue I had was the pool was freezing. Other that that, I enjoyed the stay
