Checked in around midnight staff was friendly. There was mold all over the room. Shower filled with water to ankles within minutes. Only provided hand towels. Would have moved hotels if had a chance.

Photos from the website are NOT what they are in reality, very deceptive. We booked a double bed room( sleeps 2 ) we were extremely cramped, the mattress was 2 inches thick and very uncomfortable, the blanked given was barely enough to cover 1 person let alone 2 ( we are not big people) the bathroom has NO standing room NONE had to open the door to use the sink, faucet had never been cleaned or polished, it was severely tarnished, broken towel racks, shower was half the size of a phone booth Broken shower head and it pooled up with water so fast it almost overflowed with a 2 minute shower. Walls are paper thin we could hear everything and everyone inside and outside, street noise was very bad all night, we could even hear the receptionist talking, never saw a breakfast area that shows in the photos ,the entrance/ lobby does not look like the pictures shown, no air conditioning which made the room very stuffy. The walls in the room are extremely dirty along with the elevator it was disgusting, looked like it had never been whipped down. The ONLY reason we stayed was because we flown in from the states and had been awake for over 30 hours by the time we were able to get into the room, we were exhausted so we tolerated it for 1 night. NEVER AGAIN. Complete let down for our first stay in London. We ended up getting another room elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. We travel internationally often and this is by far the worst room we have ever had.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve travelled far and wide. Electric sockets hanging off the wall. Window lodged open with piece of wood. Room in a disgusting state. I threw the “key” back on the reception and told them to stick it and went somewhere else. Absolutely awful

I thought it was very similar to the pictures shown on their page. When we went there, the room was not cleaned at all, very unhygienic. The surface was filled with dirt, the drawers were not cleaned, hair from the previous occupier were still there. The shower room drainage was not in good working condition, the tv was for only for display. I will not be recommending this place to people. I really did not enjoy my stay there, the value for money was not compensated. The place was rubbish. The room was not cleaned, remains from the previous occupier were still there, if we still have time, we rather transfer to other hotels than stay there.

If needs must!
I was in a room on the top floor, it was hot weather + the room was soooooo hot. The window opened no more than 2 inches. I requested a fan @ reception + I was given one, but advised it would work better if I removed the cage! It worked but I'm sure Health + Safety would have had a nightmare! Bedding + towels changed unnecessarily!

Horrific stay
I have NO WORDS….except I have just had to leave at 1.48am as the person in the room next to me for the second night running has been up to all sorts and the noisy is unbearable. Didn’t feel safe and my room….were do I start, holes in wall were wires showing, lots of dust and the ceiling had wet stains all over it. This is NO WAY a 3*

Just Terrible
Shower was dirty and didn’t work. Only boiling hot water would come out as the thermostat was broken. Bed was uncomfortable - really lumpy and needed a new mattress! Overall terrible hotel.

This was absolutely awful and I want a full refund. There was no hot water in my room, ants everywhere, dirty carpets and bed sheets, dust and extremely poor decor.

For me this listing is effectively false advertising and Expedia should remove this from their offering. the hotel is nothing like in the photo's, rooms and halways are disgusting and the overall state of the hotel is terrible. Obviously they are just trying to maximize profits. Happy to share photos of the terrible state.....

Very tired hotel where things seem passed their best a long time ago. More like a hostel than hotel . Location was its best feature but once inside lacked attention. Rooms small and walls paper thin - expected more for the price.

Great hotel
This is a cheap hotel option couple of blocks away from the Paddington Station. The room I stayed in was tiny but at the price range, it packed great value. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable about London and the surroundings of the hotel. My booking came with an included breakfast. Because I was checking out early, they gave me a packed breakfast, which was great. If you are not planning on sitting in your hotel room more than needed while you are in London, this is a great option.

Exactly as advertised, very basic, cracked window which didn't open but room clean and tidy, no heating but was definitely warm enough.. Sheet straight on mattress and no protector which seems a bit strange.. Quiet enough area not sure if it was me or the bed but I didn't sleep well.. It is what you pay for

hotel rooms didn’t look anything like the photos, breakfast was cold. tiny toilet are, rooms need updating other than that alright for a bed which is all we needed it for - more pillows to be provided 1 isn’t enough unfortunately

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed first the staff are not polite 1st put off. The stairs carpets are filthy and smell the photos of the rooms are nothing like the rooms at all very misleading. The room is so small i couldnt get into it. The bathroom is dize if a wardrobe and the soap was already laid out and not packaged The blinds come down but dont go up the windows were filthy stank of damp. The laundry door was left open all night long no attendance sheets towels scattered along the floors this hotel is a 1 star not a 3 star Avoid at all costs unless your desperate a hostel would be better option for sole travelers The toilet is so tight i had to go across the road just to use one in another hotel. The sink is about 10 inches x 2 inches so almost impossible to wash i had to use a hotel opposite to wash The shower was scaled stank of damp and filthy its ideal for a 5 year old child to fit in but not a adult This hotel should really update as its the worse i have been in. I have stayed in 700 hotels in 5 years this is the most worse ever
