why are hotels.com listing this hotel?
i was refused a room at close to midnight because the hotel says they are not even registered with Hotels.com for the past few months and had no record of me booking. They were full so I had no option but to seek another hotel late into the night

We left due to extremely unsanitary, and visibly unsafe (we were told to avoid the bus due to danger by the Manager.) There were no sheets and both the doors and windows did not lock and there were a number of clearly intoxicated and threatening people roaming the halls. I am writing this on behalf of my mother and young sister and the bad driver did not want to let them get out. It is our belief that this is not suitable to post this hotel on expedia without proper warning. We were also promised a refund after leaving early which was not honoured.

Bad hotel
Good location for the festival we attended however very let down by this hotel. Holes in walls,.mould round sink and shower cubicle no room to move in shower. No car Park just room 2 park on pavement if you're lucky. Got told to park on the road and pay yet got a parking ticket ! Breakfast was awful. No1 greeted us and the staff were Having an argument on arrival to the room. Food awful. Tea and coffee awful. Very noisy hotel from outside noise and inside people banging doors..would not recommend

The hotel was in need of modernising and the decor and furnishings were extremely dated. Staff failry friendly and location was ok. Room was small and hot although room fan helped despite being noisy. Overall did the job with location and avialablilty but expensive for what is offered.

This hotel was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. This stay was for my daughter's 18th Birthday present. She sent me photos of the room, including stains everywhere, chewing gum on radiator, wholes in wall & broken electrical socket. She complained & was moved to another room, but still very dirty. This was not a cheap night's stay, but I would recommend not going near this place.

Hotel is attached to a bar which plays loud music until 2am every night. Rundown building no fridge in rooms as stated online. Bathroom floor looked dirty, bed was hard, towels were scratchy.

Minimalist!!
The room was clean with a modern bathroom and a clean bed......nothing else!!! No chair, chest of drawers or wardrobe!! Tv was ok with satellite channels. Never saw the same person on reception and most of them didn't even speak!! Very rude. Apart from that it suited my needs .

Cheap and cheerful-no frills.
We knew we were getting cheap and cheerful (a bed and a bog) and wanted something close to the rail network-which was exactly what we got. The hotel wasn’t the cleanest and is in need of some serious TLC, but the bed was spotless, bathroom clean enough-albeit the monsoon part of the shower spurred over the top and straight into the loo! No wardrobe/hanging space which was a bit awkward. Breakfast area was quirky.... outside under a veranda with a patio heater, but food was adequate and staff were helpful. But would we stay again? Probably..... it did what it needed.

Broken tv, broken table, broken shower and broken draws on arrival asked to be fixed but wasn’t fixed over the weekend we spend there. Only good thing about the stay was the WiFi

As a frequent guest at budget hotels, my expectations are low, but even these were not met. My room did not have a closet, or anywhere to place my items besides a small desk and chair. Hence almost the entirety of my luggage had to be dumped on the fairly limited floor space. The windows did little to mute the noise from outside, which is significant because the hotel overlooks a fairly busy street corner, with vehicles driving past semi-frequently into the late hours. On the plus side, the room had an en suite and good WiFi signal with one router per floor for maximum coverage. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They do go above and beyond to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible.

You get what you pay for
Easy to find and close to train station breakfast was nice but limited as what they had no sausage bacon or orange juice, friendly staff but there English wasn’t great noisy as the walls are rather thin some good places to eat a short walk away

Room was ok, but the radiator was on all night far too hot and unable to turn it down. No mat for the bathroom floor and 1 coat hanger between 2 of us!

Does What It Says On The Tin
Last minute booking due to having to stay overnight at the last minute. Near a train station which was great. Room was ok. Well kept and laid out. There were no towels in the room which i didn't realise until after i'd had a shower but other than that, it did the job and i'd stay there again. I couldn't access the wifi on the 1st floor which was a bit of a pain.

Noce hotel. The manager was polite. The only thing missing was a hairdryer and the tv could of been a bit bigger. We had a pleasant stay and the break was nice too.

I couldnt even stay a night there cause needed to change my accomodation due to private reasons, nothing to do w the hotel. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, area has some amazing turkish food and shisha lounges. The rooms are bit old, no study desk, but it was clean and comfortable.

Easy check in and nice staff, but the single room I had was terrible, it was a side door to the road, that was noisy outside on the main road all night, it was dirty and mouldy, missing electrical sockets and exposed wires, really bad ant infestation! The mattress was so old all the springs had gone, very uncomfortable. No remote for the tv and it’s quite high up, so fiddly to use. There was a kettle but no plug socket for it, so if you want coffee you have to plug it in behind the bed!!! The shower was mouldy and the tap sticks out so you keep knocking it whilst having a shower and turning it into blistering hot water! Burnt myself a few times!!! Defo not a place I will return

Don’t do it!
Run down. Old. Dirty. Every shelf, cabinet, and table were broken. Room and shower were dirty. Walls were thin. You could hear everything. Room was situated over a hooka bar, which played loud music throughout the night. Very expensive for the condition.

Arrived at the hotel and the decor was out dated...checking in was slow. The man on reception took me out side round the corner to a room ...it was like a dungeon....I was not pleased. He came back in 30 mins and took me to a room in the hotel number 19....all the dirty linen from the other rooms was stacked outside my room,well in the coriadoor in no linen bags or not even covered. Room was ok....!!!! Breakfast was as you would expect 2stars. Overall ok to sleep but nothing else.

Pillows only 1" thick. Needed more for my back. Denied with out any friendliness or apology. In a freshly built/decorated room but couldve used a lick of paint. Cuboard in room smelt of tamarind. Matress in corridor. Neighbours in hotel shoting all night. Had to ring hotel for key at 1am, no one on reception so no real security. Breakfast smelled like sulphuric eggs, decided to miss that. Vastly overpriced for what it is. £100 for two equals a lovely plush hotel in the city and I'd rather struggle with travelling next time!

Nice hotel despite the awful reviews
My expectations for the hotel were quite low because of the other reviews but when I got there the staff was amazing, the room was clean and had exactly what I needed. It was close to the train station, and also to the bus station. You can get from there to the centre in 30-45 minutes. I would definitely recommend this for people who are in need of a cheap hotel in London

The only positive was that the staff were helpful and friendly but that cannot change that the Hotel is terrible and does not deserve any stars or anyone to have to stay here. It needs to be completely renovated or demolished. .

Rotten hotel with good links into London.
Disgusting place in a decent location at a decent price for where it is. So make up your own mind but you've been warned! Didn't even go see what the breakfast was like I dread to think after seeing the room.
