Don’t book here, they will lose your reservation
This hotel “lost” my reservation twice! The second time after I called to confirm my reservation because of the first time. The lady at the front desk clearly didn’t want to do her job or lift a finger to help with the situation. I was told by the hotels.com rep that I had to contact that she even refused to work with them in correcting the situation. All of this while two cars were in the parking lot so it’s not like they were full. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with any hotel or customer service situation ever.

The hallways to the rooms looked and smelled like they had dog pee all over them. I was in the room closest to the entrence door and I could smell the hallway in the entrence to my room. This was a reminder to me to pay through the hotel.com and not with the vendor. I would have tried to go to a new hotel, but didnt want to fight to get ny money back. The ice machine was also covered in mold. This totally made me doubt the cleanliness of the kitchen that would be used to make the free breakfast...so I didnt even enter the dining area

QUALITY?
Bedroom was remodeled; bathroom was ancient & could only get scalding hot water from the shower. Wife and I could not shower, after a long, hot day of driving. Breakfast consisted of coffee & a breakfast pastry.

Air conditioner wasn't cooling correctly, so we moved to another room. Went to take a shower and the shower knob fell off. They did a temporary fix so we could shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful

When we got there they had my information but expedia card wouldn't work. My stuff had cleared so we had to wait awhile for Expedia. I always use Expedia. Also a big cricket was crawling up the wall when we got in our room and took it up to the office.

I was unhappy that exterior doors were not locked at night nor did I appreciate so many Feral cats in the back yard. Hotel was fine but backyard left a lot to be desired. I was told that space could be used for the dog but no outdoor receptacle for animal waste.

Mold on ceiling and in bath tub in bathroom, Faucet falling out of wall in tub along with shower head pullling out of wall. Refrigerator leaning in cabinet, Microwave shelf pulling away from cabinet wich will fall to graound. A/C unit made to much noise to use.

Front desk staff on check in seemed annoyed when checking in. Very disappointed to arrive after long road trip with kids to find pool was completely out of service. Looked like it has been shut down for awhile, but still included in all internet post.

The clerk at the front desk didn't smile & didn't give us a friendly welcome, but did her job & got us a better room after the first one didn't work out. (there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the unit upstairs & the refrigerator wasn't working) Our new room was in front & was completely remodeled, so that was good. The breakfast was very good: everything from cereal to waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. The exercise room was nice too. Located right on Hwy 54, very convenient for in/out travel.

Decent Stay
Surprising - a decent overnight stay while passing through. There "ain't" much in this part of Kansas or Oklahoma to choose from, but the place was clean and well maintained along a busy 2-lane highway in a smallish town. The people were efficient and pleasant at check-in, and the breakfast buffet - the standard one for this chain - was pretty decent.

This was probably the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was dirty. It smelt like smoke, even the blankets had cigarette burnts in them. The plug-ins didn't work. We had light bulbs out. Tried calling the front desk numrious time and no one ever answered.
