It was simply fabulous. I thought I was back in Lech, Austria my favourite place in the whole world. I would highly recommend this beautiful place and I hope to return before too long.

The property was nestled in a picturesque spot in the mountainside of Leavenworth. Beautifully manicured with outdoor seating, spa, garden and inside comfy seats near a rustic fireplace. Beautiful view from every spot you were.

Charged for a booking that was refunded
My family was looking forward to staying at Abendblume for a night. However, since we showed up with more guests than planned, we were told that we could not stay the night. The owner did offer to refund the room, but charged us anyways when we left. If we had been told that we would be charged regardless, we would have had 2 people stay at the hotel as written on the reservation. However, her shameless lie made us feel comfortable leaving the hotel knowing that we would not be charged for the cancelled booking. It surprised me when we were charged for a stay she clearly cancelled, however, as I did not record our conversation, there is no proof needed to secure a refund through our bank. We've tried to communicate with the manager several times, but have not succeeded in obtaining our refund. I am quite disappointed that a person would blatantly lie to their customer and that she would feel justified to charge someone a few hundred dollars without providing any service. For those who still want to stay at this hotel, we recommend recording all conversations and receiving written proof of all transactions before leaving the property so that others will not be mistreated the same way we were.

I was very happy with the overall experience, and want to return during the Christmas season! The only thing I would complain about would be that at breakfast some of the other guests were speaking loudly and my group wished we could go and eat out on the quiet patio. However, that should not reflect on the beautiful property or their excellent services.

This place was wonderful!!!!! It felt so private even though there was 5 other couples staying at the same time. The food was great and the owner was very pleasant and helpful.

This is a lovely property & exceeded our expectations. The rooms are well appointed with picturesque views of the surrounding fields and hills. We loved the warm and cozy dining room which was perfect for early evening glass of wine. We were treated to a delicious raspberry almond cake before retiring. The following morning a traditional European breakfast feast with fresh fruit, cheese, meats & other goodies awaited us. Close enough to Leavenworth for daytripping or an evening meal, but a world away to enjoy a world class romantic getaway.
