My boyfriend and I adored everything about our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. We stayed in a pet friendly room, which did not bother my allergies at all, unlike many of the other pet friendly rooms I've stayed in. But it's really all of the little extras that make this place really shine: lovely employees, complimentary ice coffee and infused or plain water, a complimentary soup of the day, warm hand towels available in the lobby, and an amazing breakfast buffet. We would come back for that breakfast alone, it was so good! It's also nice that there is a restaurant on the same property, so after a long day of driving, we didn't need to go back out looking for food.
The only other feedback that I would give is that while their pet policy is very clear on their website, it is not clear on other sites that you can book your stay through. Both Google and Hotels.com mention that they are pet friendly, but don't mention needing to get a special room or that there is an additional charge of $25 per pet, per night. When you read a hotel's pet policy when searching with Google, most hotels say what their charges are and if there are any size restrictions, so this must be something that the business is able to control. We often travel with our 2 dogs, and those extra charges and policies play a big role in how we choose where we are going to stay, so it's important to us not to have any surprises at check-in.
