“Very comfortable place, more relaxing than the strip casinos”

My only complaint, the cost of having internet in our room. I am used to not paying anything. But overall a great place to stay. Price is excellent for the quality of the hotel. The shuttle bus is very convenient.

“Orleans Hotel - good local pick”

The Orleans hotel and casino is a nice off strip hotel with a good selection of eating places and alternative activities. The movie theater is nice and has a wide selection of first run movies to choose from. The Orleans convention center is a great venue and the bowling center is large and up to date. A good overall choice. Now if they would just include in room internet access for free it would be a five.

“Great Slot Tournament-can't wait for the next one!”

My family and I have stayed at the Orleans many times and have always had a good experience. The rooms are much nicer for the price than hotels on the strip. They have a great assortment of restaurants and a very friendly staff.

“Nice Hotel but too much smoking in the casinos. Should have more non smoking areas in the casino.”

I had written about a problem that I had to the cleaning person about a clog up water in the shower. It had about 3-4 inches of water when you were taking a shower. The problem wasn't taken care of in a day. The next day I had called the front desk and reported the problem, and they said that they would look into it. That evening when we got back to our room, it was corrected. The moral of this message is that the next time I need something corrected, I have to call the front desk to have things done and not rely on the cleaning people, I guess of the language barrier.

Dining
Had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner at the Loft Restaurant. We didn't partake on turkey, but had a wonderful prime rib dinner.

“Only for the Endurocross”

It served the purpose. And that purpose was to be walking distance to the year's final race of Endurocross held at the arena at The Orleans. The comfort, food and cleanliness were all good. The worst thing to me was the powdery perfume smell that was pumped into the place. I'm guessing it was to mask the smoking smell, but it was a bad on bad smell thing to me. Worst of all it was the strongest up on the 19th floor where we stayed.

Comment from the hotel's management
So good to hear you enjoyed the Endurocross function at The Orleans Arena. We appreciate your comments on the air scent that is being used, it is a new fragrance and we are working on toning down the strength; sorry you found it offensive especially on the hotel floor. We will rectify this because of your input. Thanks for staying with us and we hope you will return again soon.
