“Modern, luxurious and great staff”
We went during the off peak period for some rest and relaxation - and this hotel does not disappoint! Clean, classy and friendly staff - overall, we had a great time. Only slight negative is that wifi is not free in the rooms, but can be paid for - or free wifi is available in the hotel reception area (which is very large and a lovely space to be anyway).
“Great hotel...”
Excellent experience.. Very comfortable with all facilities...
“Great Hotel.”
Great Hotel. It is just renovated though, so there is some left over construction signs and some things on the outside of the building still potentially have wet paint spots (sometimes without a 'Wet Paint' sign, once, I got my hand covered with fresh paint on the inside gate of the tennis court) Otherwise, an excellent hotel. The new renovation was accomplished excellently, barring some slight 'growing pains.'
“pour une huitaine”
particulièrement impressionnés par la recherche décorative et le raffinement de cet hotel ( meubles , volumes , espaces, éléments de décors)
“Highly Recommended”
Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool/Bar area very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
“Comfortable, very friendly staff”
Located slighlty outside of the city center the hotel is a nice alternative to the loud and sometimes alcohol-heavy bar scene. From the first day we walked into the hotel, we felt welcome. The new and stylish decor throughout the hotel helps to feel comfortable, but it was mainly the stuff that were helpful and friendly over and above to what we normally expect. Excellent brakfast buffet! The napa mermaid is a perfect place to chill out for a week or so. I would'nt recommend it, if you were after big party. The beach across the road is near, but gets quite busy already in May.
“A good family hotel”
This was a very pleasant hotel and we really have nothing but praise. the staff were very helpful and friendly.
“Great hotel, so so location”
Very nice hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Beautiful facilities. However, a little far (15 min walk from town centre), therefore a little quiet and not so fun for younger people looking to do other things than relax. It was a little too ritzy for me to feel fully comfortable (I couldn't keep my feet up on a chair while sitting comfortably on the couch in the sitting area because the hotel staff came to advise me that this is not ok).
“A peaceful retreat from the outside world”
This place is great if you want to just chill. The ambience is relaxed contemporary tranquility. The main restaurant is expensive at 20E upwards for a main course, however room service and lunch menu in bar are curiously much cheaper with a good variety of good quality food. My room was lovely and was what I expected. The bar is reasonable; the staff are friendly and the DJ on Saturdays plays a great selection of accessible soul, funk and jazz. There are a couple of nice coffee lounges/ bars open down the road, even in low season, if the hotel bar doesn't tempt you, but when you see how nice the bar is you will not want to leave. The breakfast is lovely with a great variety of food. The leisure centre has a reasonably well-equipped gym for its size and the pool and sauna were fine. However, the jacuzzi and steam room were out of action- some additional maintenance is needed in the leisure area. However the staff could not do enough to help to ensure I enjoyed my visit. The attitude is what makes the real difference; they really care that you enjoy your stay. The hydro-therapy shower was a bit of a let down; no-one knew how to use it. However when I mentioned this in passing (not looking for a reduction), they removed the charge from my account. In conclusion though, I’m still reminiscing on my holiday and wishing I was back there, so I must have liked the place; you will never see so many comfy chairs in one place!
“nice looking, but very little on service”
I was there during the off season. the hotel is nice looking, very modern boutique hotel chic. When you request one room you most likely will get two twin beds pushed together but that's the same in my European countries. you pay for the safe but that seems standard in Cyprus. but these guys didn't even know the number for a taxi when I was going to the airport!!!! the guy who works at night is clueless. no understanding of how the internet works, what restaurants were open after 10pm, where I could get a taxi etc. no one could tell me if they had wireless or not and not even sure if they have a real bellhop. They strongly need to work on work on their services, because it's deplorable, being nice is no excuse for being clueless.
