The desk clearly gave us an upgrade and put us on the top floor. There was construction debris everywhere and dusk and exposed electrical wire. Workers had ladders and material in the hallway blocking fire hazard.

The hotel was conveniently located near our destination. Know that this hotel is being remodeled and areas are not as “new” as others yet. Our room was great…just as advertised and looking/feeling brand new.

The property is currently being remodeled, so I was upgraded to a brand new 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. It was spacious, beautiful and clean! Can’t wait to stay again.

The hotel will eventually be a nice one - the general areas are nice and the hotel itself is in a nice area. The breakfast is out of this world, and worth staying in just for this aspect. BUT, our room was terrible! It's because the hotel is renovating all the rooms and we were assigned one that wasn't yet renovated. The list of problems are endless, including a terribly stained carpet. We also found hairs in the bed (sheets!) I complained to the front desk about renting out un-renovated rooms (they absolutely shouldn't be doing this given the poor state they are in) and they did provide some compensation (for full disclosure) in the form of a future credit. I'm writing this review to say ask for a room on the third floor or up since those have been done. Other than this, it was a great stay.

Safe hotel for solo and female travelers
Easy check in, staff is friendly and festive. I visited on Halloween to attend a Halloween party in Lafayette. Returning from my Halloween party at 4am I was really relieved how well lit the parking lot was. I travel alone a lot, my adult children worry about this for safety reasons. When I have stayed here in the past and on this occasion I really do feel at ease and safe. I hope the front desk lady looked great in her hocus pocus costume she told me about!

very nice staff
the people working at the hotel were very nice, especially Emily who went out of her way to accommodate my wife and I. The breakfast was good. The free shuttle from the airport was very convenient. The only drawback, is that the hotel is under a major renovation. The pool and outside area is not open. Some of the rooms are dated. The people working there are very nice.

They are doing construction and parking is limited. The walls were cracked inside the room but they are doing repairs. The property is lovely and I cannot wait to see the improvements.

The rooms were very spacious with full size refrigerator complete with ice maker. The staff was very cordial and efficient. The breakfasts were excellent. The breakfast Hostess kept everything very clean, well stocked and very friendly. Our stay here was great and we will stay again.

Should Value Customers Better
When I arrived on 3/15/23 after 3PM I was told I would have to wait a few minutes for my room to be ready. I said no problem it’s fine I’ll wait. When checkout time came on 3/17/23 my meeting was going over so I asked for just a 20-30 minute late checkout. I was rudely told no. Hypocrisy and bad business when the customer treats you better than you treat them. Other than that it was a fine stay.

Room was very dusty and furniture in suite old and not comfortable to sit on. Complimentary breakfast was good plenty of variety and clean. Would be nice to extend the hours to 1030 or 11. On vacation would like to sleep in a little and not rush to get up and ready just to make the breakfast. Other then that everything was ok. The lady doing the breakfast daily was the sweetest. Always so pleasnat and kind. Kept everything clean and.looking nice.

The breakfast and the staff that work for breakfast are wonderful. The airport shuttle is nonexistent unless you book it ahead of time and they actually have someone to do it which they did not so I ended up having to rent a car. My room was wonderful big clean, but the TV didn’t work but I don’t watch TV. I really enjoyed my stay.

I've really loved this hotel the times I've stayed there. But this weekend I was supposed to go and traffic was backed up it would have taken me 5 hours to get there and I'm only 2 hours away. I asked to cancel and switch it to another weekend they refused. So I won't be staying there again.
