A wonderful experience on the Suriname river edge. We really enjoyed the boat trip to the Jewish settlement. A serene and picturesque environment.

Pleasant stay at Overbridge River Resort
Overbridge is a pleasant tropical resort. It has basic, clean cabin like accommodations. There is a nice breakfast and a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Very Relaxing with a small tropical forest to walk in.

I liked the place it is very relaxing. It's quiet one hour away from the city. Family friendly the staffs are friendly. What i didn't like was when i got there they couldn't find one of my reservation it took a while luckily I know how Expedia works so i when on chat and was able to get it sorted out. Also there is nothing in English like room, beach, ground notices even the menu so it is hard. They need to up grade the menu so guest can order stuff if they don't like the buffet.

Nice resort, but horrible service!
Upon arrival: reservation could not be found by local receptionist. After 20minutes finally found, but then no proof that payment was completed could be found. No manager or someone from the office could be reached out in this situation. Guests had to wait for about 80 minutes outside the reception in the rain. After having called the Hotels.com customer service in the Netherlands, a customer service repr. was willing to tell the receptionist that the booking was already paid for. However, they kept denying the entry. Finally the receptionist agreed to hand-over the keys of the bungalow with the coundition that at checkout the payment should be made by card/cash. Although is was clearly stated in an email from Hotels.com that the payment for the booking was fully paid for. So at the checkout none of the reception staff was willing to talk to the Hotels.com customer representative. After several attempts to reach the manager responsible for bookings, the guest were able to finally leave the resort as the manager then realized that the payment was already completed. Guests lost in this hassle more than 2 hours which they could have spent better in the resort. Furthermore, it was very unfriendly of the staff to keep them waiting in the rain for so long, instead of giving them shelter and trying to reach out someone from the office. I hope that Hotels.com will have a look at this case, as I want to avoid that this happens with another family. Nice resort, but horrible service!

Weinig te doen in de omgeving Accomedatie was redelijk maar hygiene kan je niet vergelijken met die van ons. Ze vegen overal de stenen maar het vuil, plastic en ander afval laten ze overal in het zand, gras liggen

Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt!!!! Onvriendelijke oudere man bij de receptie die bijna niet verstaanbaar is. Geen muziek mogen draaien, bordjes met matig alcohol etc, net kleuterschool. Zwembad vies, slijm. Tenten betaal je per persoon per dagdeel, dus 3 x 24 uur betalen. Ontbijt karig.

Heel veel achterstallig onderhoud van de huisjes appartuur en omgeving (Aanplant ).Lekkages verstoppingen schimmel in badkamer en toilet. We moesten verhuizen naar een ander locatie bleek ook niet veel beter. Bij langdurige regenval stroomt het zand de gootjes in die reeds in geen tijden zijn uitgegraven. Heel veel stilstaand water. Goed voor de muskietenkweek . Zag er ook de slakken zitten die de bekende bilharzia parasieten bij zich dragen. Niet bepaald gezond. Mooie omgeving en zeker voor de rust. Klantenbinding is bij het bedrijf niet bekend. Ondanks 3 weken te hebben geboekt toch nog voor een tent en BBQset moeten betalen. Verlengen vanwege vertrek tijd voor een paar uurtjes bleek ook niet te kunnen maar werd achteraf toch nog gehonoreerd Na een goed gesprek.
