“Will be back”

We were extremely satisfied with this hotel, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable with friendly staff and the breakfasts were superb. It was situated a bit further out than we would have liked but having said that it was lovely walking along the river and over the bridge with the castle in the background. In any event, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel for those who prefer not to walk. Will definitely return!

“Good Visit”

The hotel staff were efficient and helpful. Good food including excellent breakfast. The hotel has a pleasant calm atmosphere to relax, in after the bustle of the very old parts of Krakow. They can be reached by taxi or walking. Museums like the Eagle and Shindler's factory can also be reached on foot.

“Hilton Gargen Inn Krakow”

If you want relax in clean, quiet, and elegant hotel after long day visiting beatufull Krakow for the price of the regular hotel, this is your choice!!!!! Make sure to make reservation early, rates going up summer time. Beds are comfortable to the extreme, feels like home. And Old Town is 10 - 15 minuts away walking distance, one side hotel has view on Wawel so you can seat in the window bay (yes they are that wide) and watch Wawel at night, drinking wine ....or beer if you preffer. Totaly happy!!!!!

“Wonderful Hotel - Location is NOT a problem”

We stayed at the HGI in May 2011. As previously stated the hotel is new. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had very nice linens and fabulously large and fluffy towels. Our room faced the busy highway and Wawel Castle but we did not have any issues with noise. We had a small refrigerator which was nice for storing sodas and water we had picked up (much better than a mini-bar). Don't be discouraged by the location of this hotel. Bus #179 stops right in front of the hotel and travels to the bus stop right in front of the very large new shopping center attached to the bus and train stations. I believe the fair was 2.5 Zlotys (about $1). The buses are fairly new and accomodate passengers traveling with luggage quite nicely. There is also the option of taking tram #19 which has a stop at the roundabout (Rondo) just after you cross the river. Again the fare is only 2.5 zlotys. Although the bus and tram were good options. We found that we mostly walked. It wasn't that far and we enjoyed checking out the shops and sites along the way. The breakfast selection was very good. Our only disappointment was that the scrambled eggs were a bit on the runny side and the bacon was not nearly as crispy as we would have liked. However, they did make cook to order omelets or eggs and they also had make it yourself waffles with chocolate or strawberry topping and whipped cream. Tip: train fare to Wieliczka salt mine is only 3 zlotys and about 25 minutes.

“Very good hotel”

The hotel is very good in every aspect. Its about 20 mins walk from the centre of the Old Town which is ok if the weather is fine. But a taxi only costs about £3-4. The rooms are really comfortable and modern and the staff are friendly. Breakfast choice is very good and international. The only small complaint would be that the TV only has two English channels - CNN and Eurosport. Apart from that - its great.

“Very impressed, very definitely will go back there!”

From start to finish our weekend in Krakow was beyond our expectations. We booked this hotel in April for our party of six adults and were very impressed with the hotel in general. A buffet style breakfast was included which was delicious! Whilst there we were able to enjoy complimentary internet access! We know now that we certainly made the right choice! The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn were extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable too, actually the most comfortable we have ever slept in whilst away from home. We still can't believe that we have been so fortunate to book this amazing hotel at such a brilliant price! We would definitely recommend the HIlton Garden Inn to all our friends and family especially as it is in a very good location. All six of us would love to stay there again in the not too distant future.

“extremely helpful staff”

I cannot fault this hotel especially the receptionists who were extremely helpful,the hotel was spotless all the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you,the only drawback was the 15 minute walk into the town , which wasn't too bad when it was dry.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel new Jan 2011 so new modern stylish rooms. Extremely clean and comfortable with beds that you can adjust for your own comfort. Staff very friendly and helpful. Moderate sized rooms with compact but good designed bath/shower room. Some nice extra touches with nice toiletries with a few extras to the normal, soft towels, comfortable chairs, tea coffee, TV not to many English channels but films to rent, fill your own fridge from shop in the lobby. Great breakfast. Only downside for us on a weekend break was hotel on the otherside of the river from Wawel so its good 20 min walk to town centre, although great taxi service and bus stop. Kept us fit, but did mean that we stayed away from hotel more in the day, rather than poping back as you would if in town centre location. Fabulous weekend would visit Krakow and Hilton Garden Inn again. Tremendous value for money.
