Reception staff, Tatiana and Nikita, were both excellent and couldn't do enough to help us. Room was okay with very comfortable bed but fairly small, and had a shelf and TV placed in a very strange position overhanging the bed - you could potentially knock yourself out if you got out of bed in the night without remembering the shelf was there ! En suite was cramped, and had a glass screen that only covered half the shower, resulting in the bathroom floor getting very wet when the shower was used. Breakfast was very limited and lacked variety. Housekeeping was very efficient, with our room being cleaned whilst we were having breakfast.

Fantastic experience!
Cozy hotel weel situated on the West bank of Kotor. Great location and super Nice and clam environment. We spent 6 nights in this hotel and we enjoyed every minut. Great breakfast was served either in the restaurant or on the terrace

The hotel is truly a gem! Located at the shore of the bay in the center of Prcanj, in an old stone house of the XVIII century, very close to Kotor. Enjoy the beautiful nature, old monuments, Orthodox and Catholic churches, private beach with crystal clean water. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, perfectly clean property, gorgeous architecture, breathtaking scenery... We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a gorgeous location and had spectacular views. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The only downside is that the WiFi & cell service could be spotty in the rooms, but that’s primarily because of the property’s thick stone walls. I will def it stay here again when I visit Kotor Bay.

Amazing staff!! So helpful! Beautiful character and clean rooms! Only down fall is the dock. Beautiful except sun is only on one side and the rude neighbour won’t let you sit there.

Picturesque, charming
Very friendly helpful staff. A miniature gem. Nice seaside deck area with comfy sun beds. The sea is crystal clear.

Charming hotel outside of Kotor
We appreciated the hotel arranging our transport from Dubrovnik. The hotel is an older building with so much character. The breakfast included a selection of omelets and a breakfast sandwich. We were able to get great coffee before the breakfast was scheduled to begin. The hotel staff provided us with helpful suggestions for touring Kotor. The hotel is located outside of Kotor - very quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance of Kotor or a short cab ride away.

Fantastic!
A friend and I stayed here for a night as part of a 2 week road trip of the region. The hotel is located by the beach with stunning views of the Bay of Kotor. The room was really comfortable and the thick stone walls make it feel like you're in a castle. The staff were all really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was served in a nearby restaurant overlooking the sea and was very good. Definitely recommended!

Lovely tranquil spot
Lovely small hotel nestled on the edge of the water. Tastefully decorated and very quiet. Enjoyed our stay very much. Only improvement I can think of would be to have coffee/tea making facilities in room

We loved our time at Galathea Hotel! Though an old building, it has been completely and tastefully refurbished, and very quaint! The service and breakfast were excellent, and the location directly across the street from the Bay of Kotor afforded wonderful views, and great swimming!

Charming boutique hotel just outside of Kotor
This is a boutique hotel, only 7 rooms. It's about a 10-15 minute cab ride from Kotor which tends to get busy when cruise ships dock. The tiny town of Prcanj is lovely, beachside, and the hotel has a great and accommodating staff, small but pleasant lobby and two adjoining outdoor seating areas. The hotel room is comfortable with modern conveniences.

Really lovely hotel
Really lovely, small hotel with great access to a private beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very small. Small bathroom. Breakfast menu is limited and gets boring after a few days. Weird approach to offering coffee - one free, then pay for others. Coffee at breakfast should be part of the deal. All in all though a really nice hotel.

Relaxing location
This was probably the best hotel we stayed in on a 10 day trip through Croatia and Montenegro. Very quiet hotel with well equipped rooms, great Internet coverage and the location on the shore was so relaxing. First class food served in the restaurant and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Idyllisches Hotel direkt an der ruhigen Kotorbucht
Gemütliches, ruhiges und an wunderbarer Lage direkt an der Kotor-Bucht gelegenes kleines Hotel mit schon fast familiärem freundlichem Service. Liegeplatz am Meer unter Bäumen direkt vor dem Hotel, sehr gepfegtes Frühstück! Zimmer klein, aber modern und komfortabel, sauber, mit kleinem, modernem Bad. Es ist alles vorhanden, was der verwöhnte Gast heute will. Das Hotel ist für ruhige, unkomplizierte Ferien sehr zu empfehlen, exzellentes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. 2 gute Kanobas 50 Meter neben dem Hotel.

Personal maravilloso y servicial. Nos han ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado. El entorno es increíble. Las habitaciones cómodas, el desayuno completo y delicioso. Las instalaciones en buen estado y muy limpio todo. El hotel dispone de tumbonas a pie de la bahía para bañarse, a escasos metros del hotel. En definitiva, perfecto. Nos encantó y esperamos volver... Teniendo en cuenta lo poco desarrollado que está el transporte público en Montenegro, recomendamos contar con coche o moto para poder desplazarse con mayor libertad ya que el hotel queda un poco lejos de la ciudad vieja. Se puede ir andando, pero es una caminata larga. Y el bus pasa cada hora sin realmente saber si ha pasado o a qué hora ya que depende mucho del tráfico y atascos.

Highly recommended!
Perfect boutique hotel right on the shore of Kotor Bay. Quiet and relaxing with excellent service from friendly staff. Good restaurants are around the corner. The old city is 5km away which we chose to walk along the shore. Actually we found it to be better to be out of the main tourist zone. The front desk can arrange for a private boat to pick you up at the hotel for a great tour of the bay (70 Euro/hour). Rooms are small and beds a but firm but otherwise perfect.

Nice hotel in peaceful area with great scenery
Breakfast was nice, but if you want cold stuff to be cold and hot stuff to be hot, you better be there right from the beginning of breakfast time. Service was helpful and location was peaceful but not too close to old town. But it’s about 6 € taxi drive there.

Sehr zu empfehlen
Sehr schön ruhig gegenüber von Kotor gelegen. Kleines, feines Hotel mit sehr nettem Service und leckerem Frühstück (nicht so fettig und deftig wie andernorts). Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Parken nebenan auch kein Problem.

The house is made with stone. It is besutiful, but feels cold in April. And it is difficult to approach to the hotel because the road is narrow.

Belle chambre, pres de la mer avec de belles chaises longues, malheureusement le wifi ne fonctionnait pas bien mais Adriana nous a aidé, elle était d'une grande gentillesse. Hotel un peu trop cher.

Nice location but .....
The hotel is charming and is situated in a lovely location BUT there are a lot of little things that affect the quality of the stay. The breakfast : there is no restaurant in the hotel (contrary to what is stated). It is, therefore, necessary to order it in a restaurant that is located at 200 meters. The waiting time for this one is about 1 hour and most often this one arrives cold. The private beach: this is not really private, it is to share with the neighbor who is not particularly friendly with the hotel's guests. The staff at the hotel did not warn us, so we were insulted by the neighbor on the first day as we used her part of the beach. The room: this one is nice but very damp because of a problem of leaking in the shower. Moreover, the walls crumble and leave many small pebbles in the bed. The staff : Some of the staff seemed unmanaged. The tables were not cleared for several hours .. I think the staff were unaware on their job role. nobody asked us if we would like a drink and the bar seemed to remain closed for the duration of our stay. It is a nice hotel but I fear without the view it would be half the hotel it is.

Confortable hotel and helpful staff
Nice but maybe a little hidden hotel nearby buss stop. Easy Access to the Old Town By local bus or taxi. Walking distance is about 8 kilometres and takes approximately an hour and 15 minutes. Breakfast was served at near tavern daily.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Alle waren nett und hilfsbereit. Super Wetter und die Gegend ist unschlagbar! Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben und konnten einen individuellen Urlaub verleben. Die Anfahrt mit dem PKW von ca. 1300km ist sicher nicht zu verachten, aber man kann ja auch mit dem Flugzeug kommen. Taxi und Bus ist vor Ort immer verfügbar und preiswert. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind unmittelbar daneben. Wir haben Touren mit einem kleinen Boot und auch eine Tour ducht die Berge mit dem Motorrad gemacht. Es hat uns eigentlich an nichts gefehlt. Besonderen Respekt verdienen die Busfahrer! Bei der engen Straße mit Gegenverkehr ist das für mich eine Meisterleistung. Bushaltestellen gibt es da keine. Einfach winken und der Fahrer hält den Bus an! Super!

Propreté à revoir et attention à l'arnaque
Réservation faite sur Expédia pour 2 chambres de 4 personnes. A l'arrivée on nous explique que les chambres ne sont que pour 2 personnes et qu'il faut payer un supplément de 40€ par personne pour les 2 personnes supplémentaires par chambre (soit 4*40€ tout de même !) ou alors prendre la suite qui est 100€ plus chère mais dans laquelle on peut loger 6 personnes (avec les 2 autres dans une chambre double, j'espère que vous suivez...). Puis le soir à 22h on nous explique qu'il faut encore payer un supplément pour la suite car en fait elle n'est que pour 4 personnes. Discussion avec le propriétaire, argumentation, énervement... finalement au bout de 20 min nous n'en serons "que" pour 100€ de plus qu'initialement prévu sur Expédia. Cela fait très très cher pour le pays, d'autant que l'hôtel n'est même pas dans la ville. Donc rapport qualité prix très mauvais mauvaise foi du propriétaire = à éviter !
