"We came for a three night visit in early spring, both to do some birding in the region and to observe the total eclipse of the sun. This location was perfect for both. In early April, the yard with its multiple feeders was well stocked with both late winter and early spring birds, and the chance to watch waterbirds pass on the lake was lovely too. "The cottage is very close to the entrance of Point Pelee Park. The main deck is quite large and provides a unique view on the lake. The cottage is well maintained and adequately furnished. The three levels offre ample space for family and/or friends to spread and exercise their preferred activities. The large kitchen is well equipped with lots of dishes, pots and pans, and appliances. The BBQ on the deck is fully functional (connected to natural gas). "
