Was an overall nice short stay, close to the main attraction areas. Breakfast was in a box, muffin, cheese, yogurt eggs and coffee. Could probably have some more options. Parking was also an additional 20 fee. Bring by the water, there were quite a bit of flies and mosquitoes flying around.

The bathroom needed to be updates, or should I say modern. The room where spacious , staff friendly. The late was just couple second walking distance. The boat for the St.Lawrence, Thousand Island cruise was only seconds walk away. I would stay there again , plus the price was right

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is mid-range, but well situated in downtown Kingston, very walkable, with views of the waterfront. A boxed breakfast was included as well. The bathrooms and carpets in the room need updating, but overall, the hotel was clean and it was a comfortable stay.

Overall a decent place. It is a dated property so don’t expect the modern pleasant feel, except for the cafe area, which appears to have been renovated recently and it’s airy and nice. They come with grab and go breakfast box, which is served between 7-10am. You provide the room number and they give you the boxes according to number of occupants. The box contains a muffin, a block of packaged cheese, a yogurt cup, two hard boiled eggs, and a juice box. They also offer coffee on the side. It’s not a gourmet breakfast but honestly better than expected. You can either eat it in the café area, or put it on a tray and bring it back to your room. When we checked in, they did not tell us about the breakfast or how it works. I had to ask about it when I remembered later in the day. As it’s an older property, the room is dim, and everything feels very basic but clean overall. The location is perfect though as it’s right in downtown Kingston. A quick turn up Princess St. you have access to all the restaurants and little specialty shops. The next morning (Saturday) we walked across the street and spent some time at the Kingston Public Market which is lovely. We were going to spend some time along the waterfront but the midges swarming along the shoreline turned us away. There were millions of them (no joke). We came here for a tour at Queen’s and tagged on an overnight stay and had a good time overall.

Great location for viewing the port, but parking is very limited. There is also no ramp at the front door for anyone using a wheelchair or rollator. Furniture is also a bit dated.

Room 502- tub backed up in the middle of night, coated in body hair, none of us got to shower. Waited 30 minutes for maintenance, when they didn't show, we cancelled the call until we were expecting to check out. Room service entered room while guests in room without knocking. Reception friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were excellent, the room was crisp and clean with a view of the harbour. There were tons of great places to eat within a very short walk (which was good because it was raining!). The breakfast was outstanding - a cute little box with juice, muffin, yogourt, two hard boiled eggs, and a nice (not cheap!) piece of cheddar. Bamboo utensils wrapped in a napkin were included, they thought of everthying, really a great start to the day!
