Loved Ibis Bay Beach Resort! Classic 1950s Key West resort! Large and nice pool. Nice breakfast. Convenient hourly shuttle to old downtown Key West. From the palm trees to the hammocks, Ibis Bay Beach Resort was the perfect setting for staying in Key West without the hustle and bustle of the touristy downtown area. Loved our stay!

The rooms are small but cute. Great for 2 people. The location is perfect and the shuttle is very convenient. The restaurant on site is perfect and so delicious. You can feed the nurse sharks. The jet ski and other activities were awesome. Make sure you don't bring a hat and that your sunglass are on tight.we really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a beautiful stay here! We thought the beach area would be nicer though and our room was good but had issues with the shower and housekeeping at times. The shuttle was a godsend since it’s pretty far from everything. The continental breakfast was delicious also!

We booked this place through Expedia and they provided us a room worst than road side motel. We asked them if we can cancel as it didn’t look same as we saw on website. Receptionist mentioned you have to deal with Expedia The room was upstairs and we carried all our luggage There were other rooms available on ground floor which were not given as we were third party clients

The hotel is quite nice. Apart from Duval's heavy crowd and easy transportation to it. Very nice complex, excellent for kids. Amazing lobby. The only remark I would do is room's bathroom size. Nevertheless, it is a great place and a great option.

I read some bad reviews.... and I think those people are probably just snobs lol. This is a quirky, unique hotel that feels very "Key West"y. It isn't a 5 star hotel, it's old and cute but clean, funky, and an experience you won't get anywhere else. The vibe of the place is very islandy and different than any chain you'll find. I would definitely stay there again if I was looking for an experience and not just a room. Loved the tortoises, the hammocks everywhere, the natural beach, the trees, the colors, and the attached restaurant and neat pool.

The shuttle drivers are awesome. Plan on staying here again in October of this year. The bight marina is within walking distance from resort for fishing charters

Beautiful place and it is eye catching driving to this place because they serve stoned crabs and offer other services such as night kayak, jet ski, and others. The place is clean including the room, the parkings and pool. I love the hammocks around the buildings and a place to watch the sunrise and sunset. This place is within close proximity to shoppings, beaches and restaurants. Two things I dislike are 1) the fan constantly turning on and off throughout the days and nights to be energy efficient and 2) breakfast is at 8 AM when they start coffee at 7AM. Overall, a great place to stay and clean.

It is a fine resort. I like sea turtles, parrots, sharks in the facility. The staff registered me is professional but is not nice to me and my wife, giving us feeling that they just want our money. But overall we like the resort.

The price I paid for the hotel was too much in comparison with the hotel's overall quality. The front desk gave me excellent service. On the other hand, breakfast wasn’t good. In addition, early in the morning, around 6 a.m., there were too many noises from the maintenance people of the hotel, laughing and talking super loud. The trash in the hotel had been smelling horrible for two days. The location of the hotel is good and accessible to other places, and I liked the transportation service.

The only reason why I gave the property a rating of four for the staff and services was for the services available not the staff.. the staff was awesome but the services they offered.. kayaking.. golf cart rentals and bikes was not available are whole stay

We had a great stay. We were right on the bay. We enjoyed the views from our patio. There were patio chairs and hammocks provided. We also enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas walking around our patio area. We fed sharks at the Stoned Crab restaurant which is connected to the property. We also rented a golf cart right at the hotel and spent a fun day driving around Key West. They also rent jet skis (tours), kayaks (Lighted night tour), and pedal bikes. I liked that they offered so many things to do right from the hotel. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was also nice. Good music playing and drinks available at the bar right next to the pool area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Ibis Bay Resort. First off it is one of the more reasonably priced accommodations in Key West. They have great amenities, such as their large clean pool, free continental breakfast and free transport to and from old town. You can also rent golf carts, scooters, bicycles, and they offer a few different tours. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our room. We booked the queen bed courtyard room on the 2nd floor. They did a lovely job decorating the tiny room but the room was extremely damp and smelly. The carpet was old and most likely the cause of the smell. The air conditioning system ran continuously and was very loud. The venetian blinds let in a lot of light from the outside hallway and didn’t provide much privacy at night. In order to fit our luggage, we moved the patio chairs and bistro table to the outside hallway. This is an old motel that has been nicely decorated but requires a lot more than paint to bring it up to modern standards. So would I stay here again? Maybe, but I would definitely upgrade to a larger room on the main floor with an ocean view.

Our room had the two double beds with the deck on the bay. The outside area was great. The room had termites really badgered, it’s an older room and it showed. Not complaining our stay was fantastic, I could have just lived outback!
