According to our notes, another family member was staying in another hotel and you opted to cancel your reservation with us to be with them. We did put your room up for sale but it was not sold. The pool fits or area and is protected by the buildings during the cold winter winds. The sun just beats in there and does help to heat the water. In our standard room, the bathrooms were small as everyone spent most of their time outside. Bobby, Thank you for booking with us through Expedia and choosing the room of your choice. All pictures are up to date and does not show a television in the bedroom. This is the first complaint that we have had concerning the mattress so we will go over and check it out. The mattress is a well know name brand so unless you consider something that cost over 1200 a cheap foam mattress I respectably disagree with you. The couch is a futon and will be changed out as soon as we can update the unit. We hope you had a safe trip home.Have a wonderful day.

Patricia, Thank you very much for staying with us. We do appreciate your kinds words about your stay and the items you that you mentioned and liked. We also want to thank you for your kind words about our staff and myself as well. What I am most disappointed in is the thought that we let A/C's go until they don't work. Yes, another unit went out exactly as yours and they are both under warranty. When the first a/c went out, we were also full and there was not place to move them to and when we tried to find another hotel, everyone was booked. It has been an extremely busy season which everyone was very happy about, but you never know when an appliance is going to have a problem. It is totally out of our control and we deal with it the best way we can to make our guest as comfortable and happy as we can. First we called the repair man immediately. Once we found out that it could not be fixed that day we went to our back up plan. Fortunately, you had many activities planned for the days and early evening, and we provided you with a unit to keep you cool. We did repeatedly ask you if you were alright and if everything was fine. I didn't hear anything else but it was good. We could have offered you a fan but we did have a back up plan to make you comfortable.As far as the pool it is that time of year where there arewarm days and then a cold front comes through and the the pool becomes to cold. We deal with people from all over the world and we cannot satisfy everyone each day. You could have swam in Florida Bay that is a little cooler at the moment. But again, that will change in just a few short weeks and it will be the opposite way. The pool will be then cooled and the bay will become bath water. We do hope you will come back again to stay with us, but even though problems don't happen every day, sometimes it is out of our control but we will do all we can to make you comfortable so you can enjoy your trip. Hope your trip home was uneventful and in the end we hope you had a great time.

Your elegant way of describing our property really made me remember just how much we loved Rock Reef when our family stayed here all during the 80's. I will start 35 year of owning Rock Reef on June 30th and the awe of the peace and quiet just bags us to relax and enjoy the surrounding. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me slow down and remember all the feelings, views and peaceful times as you described it.
