Although the property is old. It’s deceiving how nice it is on the inside, not to mention the little beach area in the back and Tiki hut and bar. We did not use the pool area. You could actually swim in the ocean and do some fishing and spot a manatee.. it was perfect for one night on our way back to Miami..The staff was wonderful as well as the breakfast..added bonus..

The property is OK. Nothing scary and clean, but it was musty smelling and humid even with AC. Room OK. Barrier free shower let water run into hallway causing a fall risk. Had to lay towels on floor. Get extra towels. It is because they put in shower rod that is too large for floor slope so water runs down curtain onton non slopped floor.

The view with the beach area was beautiful, and the tiki bar was nice. The worst problem was the entire property inside was dark, dingy, and very outdated. Also the bathroom was extremely small.

Truly a relaxing property to stay at with everything available in a short drive from the property. The beach bar by the waterfront made for a very relaxing evening!

Property was/ is re- roofing hotel. It would have been nice to know before booking. First room offered, bathroom was dingy, tiles in shower cracked, rust around bottom of bathroom door, from shower runoff. Toilet seat very loose. Beach is not the clear water you expect from the Keys, because it is a enclosed bay. Water is dark, can’t see bottom at all. Staff was nice enough to move us to a different room. Somewhat better. Showers are all tiled, and definitely in need of improvement. Breakfast was good. Staff in that area very friendly. This is the first Hampton Inn i have stayed at that you needed your room key card even to enter from any outside door too. Not sure what this says about the safety of the surrounding areas… not a big inconvenience, and maybe a good thing to most. Just came from Hampton Inn Key West, and this one unfortunately pales in comparison.

we loved our stay. the staff was extremely nice. the bedroom was clean and bed was comfy. The only thing i wish was that the amenities like the kayaks available at the site will be free or more affordable. Some hotels offer those for free to guest . Its extremely close to restaurants like fish house and lazy lobster . I highly recommend this hotel it is worth the stay. A MUST GO!!

The setting was beautiful. The little beach was perfect for lounging or taking a dip. The pool was a good size. The bar was nice and convenient although only open till 8 if someone is looking for something later. Breakfast was surprisingly very good with a variety of food. The staff was all very nice and helpful. The only downside we saw was there wasn't enough chairs at the beach and pool.

This Hotel is right on main road so it is convenient to get in and out of. Had nice sized rooms, great breakfast with several options. Had an awsome outdoor area with small beach area that was well maintained. This area also had an outside Tiki Bar. Perfect place for watching the sun set. Highly recommend.

This was an average hotel with a very nice outdoor view of the water and grounds. There is a tiny beach area and a tiki bar lounge outside which is nice. The rooms are a bit outdated and there is quite a bit of dust which had our allergies going. The price is very steep per night in our opinion in comparison to other motels in the area. We would only return if we could find no other options but we are used to staying at 4 star hotels. The lady at the front desk was a bit stern and didn’t smile much but you could tell the place may be understaffed. The highlight of this place is the convenient location to all restaurants, snorkel places, bars, etc. We also enjoyed seeing the large amount of iguanas on the property in the grassy area. That was cool. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion but could use more Kleenex and toilet paper.

This property has a private beach with many chairs in a bay with a covered bar area staffed from 3 to 10. They had kayaks and paddle boards for rent by the hour. Loved the location and amenities.

At breakfast, Angie was very friendly and helpful - I asked her about some of the food choices and she offered to get me blueberries for my oatmeal (which were not out on the buffet!). I really enjoyed the healthy option that she provided. The Tiki Bar by the water was not open, and we were there within its operating times of 4-8, but we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway. Room and bath were nicely appointed, with an extra sink area across from the fridge and microwave. Beach was tiny, but kayaks were provided. Good overnight stay!

The hotel was better than expected. Our room was very quiet and super comfortable. The balcony was great, furnishings were stylish, and staff was super helpful. Ask about the Fish House across the street!

Nice warm pool and really pretty waterfront area. Don't expect a real beach (it's the Keys afterall), but the view of the sunset is perfect and you can grab a drink at the tiki bar while you watch it. We didn't catch a sight of any manatees, but it's apparently a popular area for sightings. We paid a reasonable price for it being spring break. Room was clean and comfortable, although we got a room with a view of the parking lot, so bad luck of the draw. No problem for a one-night stay.

This hotel is a fine mid-range hotel. The room was clean enough, but there was a lot of dust in the nooks and crannies. Breakfast was very nice and had plenty of choices to start your day.

Enjoyed our stay. Has private pool and small beach access. Free breakfast. Staff were great. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and shopping. Has a pool side view and a parking lot view. Parking lot view has a nice natural privacy border of palms and other tropical plants so your balcony has some privacy.

Unprofessional front desk staff at check-in. We were 3 and given a room for 2. We had to set up the sofa bed ourselves. The room was spacious with a garden view but the toilet got blocked. Good self service breakfast with very helpful staff. Overall good for one night stop.
