Way to loud in the lobby too many guests just standing around. I could barely hear the guy at the front desk. Trash and part of a necklace was found in 1 of our beds.

Not a good hotel at all. Customer service was good so that helped but the rest of the hotel was garbage. It was falling apart. Workout room treadmill couldn’t be used it as messed up and the electronic panel on the electrical kept fallling off. The bath had a bunch of hair in it. There was a strip where carpet met tile between bathroom and room that was missing and we kept cutting our toes on staples. It was overall not very clean, needing things fixed, and gross to stay in.

They told me that if I didn't pay 90.00 by 4 o'clock Thursday the 15th that the room would not be booked. So Saturday the 17th we booked at another hotel. Monday when we were home I noticed a change of 89.00 to my bank account from Quality Inn Lenexa. I called them and asked why I was charged for the room and they told me because I hadn't called and cancelled the room I was still charged the booking fee. The desk clerk told me to call back Tuesday the 20th before 9qm and talk to the manager. I called at 8 am and the manager said he was on the phone and would call me back ASAP. I called again at 9 am and the clerk said the manager was still on the phone and that he would call me back as soon as he could. The manager never called.

Came up for the Super Bowl parade. Hotel was what you would want at this price-clean room, clean building. Bed could have been softer, but that’s a matter of preference. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Breakfast was decent, too.

The towels are very old. Bedding was not changed for a multi-night stay. Worst gravy I've ever seen at a hot breakfast and breakfast was broken down immediately leaving some guests without. The hot tub water was greenish and needed a change. Finally, the hotel was not very busy and the front desk put guests in adjacent rooms when they could have spread them out to lessen noise and disruption.

Alex was working the front desk. He made sure he had every single thing we needed before we even asked. You have one WONDERFUL employee. He even remembered my name from last March. I cant wait to bring my boys back for spring break. This is now our go to hotel in KC. Thank You for a great NYE pretrip!

No Quality in Quality Inn
We checked in the place had a bad smell. We got to our room and found what appeared to be a dry blood stain on the pillow the door would not close. Then we found a sippy cup with rotten milk in it. So I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. He stated since I booked with a third party that I had to go through hotel.com to get my refund. I got ahold of hotel.com and Quality Inn lied to hotel.com and said they offered me another room and I denied. That never happend and Quality Inn refused to refund me. Stay here if you don't value your safety or health. You may end up with bed bugs just saying.

Super friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. For the price, the hotel is a bit dated, this is a great hotel. Plus its close to plenty of dining and shopping.

The hotel was clean and everything was fresh. Breakfast had a variety of options, but could have been better. However, the only big issue we had was the pool and hot tub. The overwhelming smell of bleach when you enter the area, it was a bleach smell not chlorine and after 10 minutes your eyes started to burn.

Everything was good until our 2 adult children came in to visit us and enjoy the hot tub for a little bit, which has never been an issue before. The desk worker told our kids that they could not visit us in the hot tub and when I went to ask why he was rude to me and said that it was common since due to it’s a liability because they are not a registered guest ! Just to go back to the hot tub afterwards and both people that was in there was not registered guest! I felt like I was being singled out after the fact and I will not be returning

Avoid this place at all costs, there are plenty of decent hotels on the same street. This hotel should be closed and possibly condemned. When we arrived at about 1 p.m., My husband went in to ask if we could check in early. The young man at the front desk informed him that we could but it would cost $7 per hour. So much for goodwill and customer service. The only good thing I can say about our stay is that we did not SEE any bed bugs, but I woke up with multiple itchy, red bumps on my legs so something happened. We reserved a suite, we got a room with a half-wall between a bed and a couch that was so dirty that I would not sit on it. The drawers had hair and spills in them, one lamp did not have a lightbulb, the furniture was crumbling and both of the fire extinguishers (one on the first floor and one on the second) had broken glass on their doors. A child could be cut if they touched this. There were 2 tiny bath towels in our room. One had brown stains on it and the other had large areas that were thinner than gauze--perhaps it was used to clean up bleach at some point? Whatever the cause neither towel should have been offered to guests. There were dirt smears on the wall, mold and peeling paint around the windows, and a stench in the room that made me check to see if someone left food to rot under the bed. Learn from my error and stay somewhere else.

All of the front desk staff was very kind. Unfortunately we did have some issues. Upon opening our door the first light barely came on & could see by it. The AC was not turned on so it was hot & muggy in the room. The security latch was very loose, not secure. The sink handle came off & there was no hot water to the sink. The curtain rod came off when I tried to open it. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were squished to the size of toss pillows(glad I brought my own) Breakfast was just above basic. Waffles were like Styrofoam. Eggs were not fresh, they were round, preformed circles. Our room needed paint touched up in many places. Just seemed run down. The cleaning cart had a Target basket strapped to it (like the one you carry in the store). Could have been worse, but was expecting better

Any traveler needs to know the reviews were really off here. When we arrived were shocked, kind of creepy location. I asked if the rooms were clean. Staff responded that’s why we have maid cleaning service. The place was not to our standards the elevator didn’t work well, the room was not clean. The amount of dust on lights was missed by the amazing cleaning service. My 8 yr old granddaughter was even disappointed! The only reason I booked it. I thought it looked like a clean place, never again. I will pay more to stay at a nicer place. Lesson learned —- ugh

If you like filth this place is for you
Ive stay here 3 or 4 times before it wasnt special but never had issues. However this stay was horrible. We booked an extra night just so my daughter could swim showed up and the pool was closed. Then went to ran and the bathroom was covered in urine. We had to go so i cleaned it myself. Frig had beer in it still and spills. Sheets and pillows had body fluids on them. I called to get fresh sheets and pillow cases. While i was changing noticed how disgusting the pillows were. I went down and asked for new pillows. She only had 2 clean so that is all we had all weekend. 2 pillows and sheets because new blankets were not provided in a dirty room. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. see pictures if you want to be disgusted... It wont let me add the photos but if you saw the condition of this room you would agree. Honestly i think i should get my money back and i never say that. Oh yeah AND the tv was broke to top everything off lol.
