“Good hotel, but some information listed may be incorrect”
I was informed by hotel staff that guests at this hotel do not have access to a pool as advertised. Also, we never saw any evidence of lemonade and cookies in the lobby as advertised. That said, this is a nice mid-range hotel in a good location (close to the Plaza).
“Westport KC Hotel - Nice Place”
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel it is just a few blocks from Westport Entertainment area.
“Two Blocks from the Plaza”
When we arrived, our rooms had king size beds instead of the doubles we requested, which wouldn't work for our group of four adults and two teenaged children. The concierge was a cheerful and competent individual who quickly made the changes for us. Unfortunately, the next rooms we were given wouldn't open with the new room keys. Again, the matter was handled efficiently, and the concierge gave us complimentary breakfasts for our trouble. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The best feature of the hotel was its location just two blocks from the Plaza. The Plaza was delightful to stroll through, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay close to this area.
“Good deal”
It was only 2 blocks from the Plaza area but much cheaper than hotels right on the plaza. They also offer a free shuttle though we did not use it. Very nice and clean rooms, looked fresh and modern.

This hotel has extremly friendly staff and they are very accomidating. The rooms are very nice and it is in a good location.
“Great family time in KC”
My wife and I had stayed at the Sevill e a couple time previously. We had our kids with us this time and had a great time. One of our daughters had to leave the hotel early to help with wedding preparations and getting to the church and back was very conveinent. We were close to any place we wanted or needed to go and had a great time.
“Great Location to UMKC”
I thought the hotel was very nice. Spacious room, nice showerhead. Hotel staff helped me print several directions as I was apartment shopping. I'll stay again if I can't find a place! :)

All hotels could learn from the staff here. Very friendly and outgoing. Perfect part of town. Great room, very comfortable and spacious. Would stay again without hesitation.
“Great stay in K.C.”
The Best Western Seville Plaza Hotel is in a great location! Only a few blocks to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Fine Art and the Kemper Contemporary. It is also close to the Plaza where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a Wild Oats market on the corner and well stocked liquor store across the street. The hotel staff was very friendly and when I called the front desk to let them know my ironing board was broken it was replaced in minutes. Our room was spacious and very clean. Overall it was a great stay and from now on it is where I stay when I visit Kansas City! and friendly staff and the breakfast was fine with muffins, bagels, fruit etc.
“Great Price and location”
We were looking for an affordable hotel for our trip to Kansas City. This hotel was clean, quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the MAX stop is steps away from the front door. Walking distance to all the great shopping and food in the Country club area - you can feel like you are the country club type and still afford to eat! We walked to all the downtown area's from the hotel - Liberty square, crowne plaza, the light & power district, crossroads and even the riverfront - we took the bus after dark, as most of the buildings between the hotel and downtown are closed or vacant after dark, which is typical in most large cities. The bus system is extremely easy to use,busy, and it saves your feet!
