its was a lot going on from the bathroom tub with burn stain also had stain on covers. room smelled like mildew i was not happy with this and tried to speak with spoke from front desk when i check out and no one was there

Property is outdated, breakfast is limited. The juice machine was broken. Sunny D was available in a pitcher WARM. It was cereal, waffles, sausage and instant eggs. The ice dispenser was broken on 12 and 11. Only 2 towels were provided on check in (queen double room) and when we asked for more we were told no, wait until the next day. After arguing we had 4 people in the room we needed more towels the front desk girl rolled her eyes and gave us 4 more towels. The room was NEVER cleaned up the next day, when we called the front desk to tell them we needed more towels/linens we again were told no come to the front desk and hung up on. Outside is super sketchy looking. Lock your car and make sure you don’t have any valuables left out. Front desk girl could use a few classes in customer service. She should just quit if she doesn’t like her job that much. Never ever will stay here again. Do not recommend.

Receptionist was not at all friendly, we didn't feel welcomed. The hotel property inside and out very poor maintained. The room was not clean, the shower was not comfortable. My husband had surgery and when he was discharged, I was concerned of the cleanliness of the room. The bed skirt was a mess, it made a bad appearance. They only had cereal, couple of bread slices,waffle maker and a few yogurt. Coffe was not good. I will not come back. The second day, my key didn't work, I had to get it redone, I could never sign up on the wifi, I had to use my own data for my computer. I will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel smelled like chemicals from the pool and the room was not as clean as it could have been with a broken bathroom lock, the staff was very nice and it was one of the more affordable hotels in the area though. The location was conveniently near the highway so we were able to get around easily.

Paid 178.00 for this room. Got in late and attempted to speak with staff , not helpful. The fire alarm literally was pulled out of the ceiling with wires exposed. Bed seemed to have fresh sheets , only reason it got 1 star. Rested on top of the sheets , did not use the bathroom left early because of the poor accommodations . Truly not an experience I anticipated or would repeat .

Extremely difficult to understand staff as there was a language barrier. When asked for extra towels as there were three people staying in our room, only gave one extra towel. Had to repeatedly ask for them to give me extra towels and this was met with reluctance and annoyance on their part. One night they said they didn’t have anymore clean towels. Did not clean, make beds or switch out towels for our entire three day stay. Breakfast was minimal with all packaged food, including hot food. Only good was the Mexican restaurants on both sides of the hotel. Easy to get to downtown K.C.

The first room we were given had a clogged toilet when we arrived but wasn't noticed until next morning. We reported it next morning, but it still wasn't fixed by the evening, and we were told maintenance would arrive in a few more hours. Because we protested is why we got assigned a new room, which had a tub faucet that wouldn't shut off. They acknowledged this was a known issue, yet still thought we'd take this room. A new room was provided after that. The trash cans' foot pedals in the dining room area didn't work, and the lady expected us to open dirty lids to put the trash in. There were busted glass bottles in the parking lot that we had to sweep away with our feet to avoid tire damage. These bottles were still there during the entire 3 days of our stay. The internet connection was constantly dropping, never lasted more than 5 minutes. There was no janitorial service at any point in our 3-night stay. A busted van with a flat tire and 2-year expired plates parked in front of the hotel office is not the best look.

My complaint was the rook I received had many broken items, there was tons of dirt and dust on many areas. My air unit was covered in dust and dirt. My lamp was wobbly and broken so could not use. My phone was cracked in the room. My bathroom door had a punch hole in it. The sink was cracked. Also I had live baby roaches crawling in the bathroom. It was not what I expected for the price. I was very disappointed in this stay.

Walk in shower floor was not even and created a huge mess in bathroom floor with water. We had to use our towels to prevent it from getting on carpeted floor. Very unsafe for a wheelchair user to transfer from wheelchair to toilet without falling on wet floor.

Horrible hotel with false pictures on the web site. Broker windows, bullet holes in some areas, no other cars in parking lot. Looked like a homeless guy in the lobby. I tried to cancel my reservation but was told I couldn’t because it was made online. Refused to stay there and found a different hotel. Expedia should be ashamed for having this on their site.

The room was very clean, and it was quiet. The heater and refrigerator did not work at all. Most inconvenient, there is no elevator. If you have luggage, you have to schlep it up the stairs.

This hotel is not even a one star. They wouldn't get us towels the bedding was soiled the carpet was philfy the shower was messed up and dirty the bathroom tiles were cracked. They could only give us second floor there was no ELEVATOR. The carpet on the stairs was torn and I cut my hand in the handrail it had a sharp metal piece sticking out from it. There is way too much more to describe.

The listing stated that the room could accommodate 5 people. There were only 2 beds, no couch, and they refused to provide a rollaway bed. They would not even give us an extra pillow. The lady at the front desk was rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but canceled our second night because it was so awful. The area of town was sketchy as well. The whole experience was awful.

Good but could be better
It was in a great location, close to westport area where we spent a lot of our time. Bed was super comfortable and it was nice. Rooms did have a fun smell!! I did also have dirty liens in the bathroom and used soap in the shower. Floor could have been cleaned better as well.
