Large country hotel
An overnight stay before flying out. We needed to leave Dublin fairly early in the morning and prices for city hotels were extremely high (probably due to end of season sporting events). This was still expensive but more reasonable. Helpful staff and good food in the bar as well as a more formal restaurant. Easy drive on the motorway to Dublin airport but we did not have time to see the surrounding area

The best little mni break ever..
Where do I start... This was a very spur of the moment break away for one night with my ten year old daughter. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we felt so welcomed..every one of the staff were so nice, friendly and I was so sorry we werent staying longer. The room we had was spacious, very clean and comfortable...the best night's sleep I've had in ages..(again, sorry I wasn't staying longer). We treated ourselves to dinner in the restaurant...fabulous..the nicest Caesar Salad I have ever had..my daughter demolished the chicken wings with a smile The location is brilliant, not far from Trim Castle and the Hill of Tara... Thank you so much...we will be back, without a doubt. Denise

Had a great stay here and I could not fault it one bit. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel also had plenty of hand sanitizer around and it was clear that the hotel was adhering to strict covid procedures which put my mind at ease. The rooms were also very clean and spacious. The food in the restaurant was very good and done to a high standard. Breakfast too was also very enjoyable and I would recommend option as part of your stay. I would definitely recommend the Hamlet Court to a friend

Overnight Stay on way to Wedding
Pleasant family run hotel just off N4. Arrived late just after 11pm and welcoming night staff (also covering bar) advised where we could get local takeaway at late time of evening. Rooms were good size and very warm, which was welcoming on such cold night, however next morning when waking up to a sauna realised thermostat on radiator was broken and could not regulate temperature. Breakfast choice was good and food was warm and soda bread yummy. However why is it so hard to get good fruit juice in morning (same issue at Radisson Blu in Sligo). Overall suited for stop over on way to family wedding and good value for what we paid.

Really friendly hotel, I had paid for three nights. The first morning the shower was stone cold so reception gave me a key to another room down corridor as the shower was hot in there. They explained I didn’t have to move as hopefully it would be fixed that day but to use the other room for showers in the meantime. Unfortunately the shower was never fixed so I trundled up the corridor each morning and evening for my shower. It was a busy weekend as I was attending an agm. It was pointed out to the hotel that it wasn’t fixed on several occasions. Bearing this in mind I would of hoped for some form of refund but it wasn’t offered. A jug of garden roses and four chocolates didn’t quite make up for the inconvenience. But I cannot fault their friendly manner and the hotel was nice.

A Hotel with character and ambience. The Staff and Owner make this Hotel feel friendly and welcoming. The dinner meal was good value and fresh. The Bar staff were friendly and happy. We can also recommend the breakfast, it was fresh. The service in this area was friendly and happy as well. Overall, a very good experience.

I travel for work and stayed here last month also. Loads of parking on arrival, was greeted by friendly receptionist. I was given a massive room but it had a small tv with broken remote. The busy saloon bar was good, with lots of friendly locals having a laugh! Friendly bar staff. I arrived late and left early and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Offers good value for money.
