We are an middle-aged couple who spent 3 nights at this hotel in October 2006 and were completely satisfied. When visiting NYC and you are looking for an inexpensive, safe, clean room as a place to sleep, shower and change your clothes then this hotel certainly fills the bill. Just a short walk through a well lit safe district to the PATH train station which puts you in downtown Manhatten in less than half an hour without breaking the budget. The hotel staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very obliging.... just ask and you shall receive. We had a room overlooking the entrance to the Holland tunnel and in spite of the heavy traffic it was very quiet. The only shortfall is that there is no elevator so if you have a lot of baggage it could be a bit of a chore getting everything to the second floor. Would we stay here again? Most definitely.

Best motel in the New Jersey/Hudson River area of this type that I've stayed in by far. Also, extremely convenient to drive into NYC as the Holland Tunnel is right there.

This hotel is really close to the center of NY. 5 minutes walking to get the Path station, the train gets you directly (10 minutes) to the 33rd avenue. The rooms are clean, simple, enough to spend 2/3 nights in New York. Breakfast is a buffet at the reception, nothing special, but outside of the hotel you can get a breakfast in the mall, or in the little bars all around.
