Gator Bowl Trip
In town for a bowl game. Great service at check in, room was clean and bed comfortable. A little road noise from the interstate but not disturbing. Nice place!

Check in difficult but stay pretty good
check in was hard as I reserved two rooms. That was two reservations and I placed another name on one. The others arrived first but could not check in because they said my name was on the reservation. I asked to add the other person's name as I was sure I had done so. The others had to wait 90 minutes for us to arrive. When I arrived, at first the kept saying I had one reservation with two rooms. I explained I have two reservations. Once this fiasco was resolved they said they could not let me check in the others (who had gone to eat) because it had the other person's name on it. I explained that we had already said that and she was unable to check in. Then they wanted to authorize my card... uh no. Had to call friends who after eating returned and checked in. Other than this most of the rest of the time was good. We had a two story cottage, a bit musty smelling but clean and comfortable.

Room was dirty, microwave didn't work. Cleaning lady that come every few days didn't really clean anything. Air filter wasn't changed for a long time. My daughter reacts to dust and she had a skin irritation during our stay. Breakfast is bad, prepackaged. Neighborhood not good.

During your four day stay, our housekeeping staff would not have done a full clean on your room. I do hope that you reported that the microwave oven wasn't working and that maintenance took care of it for you. Our Grab-N-Go breakfast includes nutritious choices and a variety of proteins, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk and cereal. Again, I am sorry that you did not enjoy anything about your stay.

Staff were great sadly the room was gross. Hasn’t been dusted or vacuumed, ceiling fans are gross. Dog hair everywhere and I didn’t bring a pet. Only giving them a four due to staff friendly beds when I called and had requests.

Girl at the front was hands down the bombdotcom.
The girl at the front was super friendly, I locked my keys in the room and instead of just keying me a new card she asked me while lotta questions, it could be frustrating to some but it definitely made me feel like the security of my personal belongings was something she actually cared about.

Even though our property is mainly extended stay, we still provide a quick, grab-n-go breakfast for our guests. We serve breakfast during the week between the hours of 6am and 8am, and weekends, 7am to 9am.

We liked the spaciousness of the rooms. We liked the convenience to local services and people we were visiting. We disliked most that we were not aware this was an extended stay room until we checked out. We expected more amenities, daily maid service and cleaner floors and bathroom. The website gave no indication this was a long term room, except for the initials ES. The room was uninviting with hard floors (no carpets or mats) and an uncomfortable sofa. And an antiseptic smell permeated the AC vents. Fortunately we did not spend much time in the room.

Hi WIlliam, We are so sorry that you did not understand that the property is an extended stay hotel. We do sell rooms for nightly stays as well as long term stays. Unfortunately, since the pandemic began, there are more than a few Hotel Companies that do not provide daily housekeeping services. Since we are primarily extended stay, we provide limited service once weekly and full services once weekly. We keep supplies at the Front Desk in case our Guests choose to exchange towels or other linens during their stay. We do hope that you will give us another chance on your next visit to the area.

I have made reservations before, with Sonesta, but not at this location. I was not impressed, especially knowing the potential the other locations have. The neighborhood did not look safe and there was loitering outside of our building. The staff was super nice. However, the suite had roaches and there was hair on our bed sheets. Also, the waster goes down slowly in the bathroom sink. The water pressure in the shower head was low and it took some time for the hot water to actually get hot. The ice maker in the freezer didn’t work, the iron was cracked and leaked water all over my shirt. I will not book this location again!

This place is really warn out… I’m sure it was great when they built it in the 90s but now…not so much. The floors felt like I was going to fall through in places, multiple lights in the suite were burned out when we arrived and another one died while we were there. They have a serious pest problem, we had significant ant trails by the second night, all over the kitchen counter, which means the colony was established and knew to look there for food already, and we saw like 10 cockroaches!! They had to move us out of our initial suite because it absolutely REAKED of cigarettes. They did upgrade us to a larger suite as an apology but the fact that the room “got cleaned” and approved for a new customer with that overwhelming smell says a lot. Oh, also, the free breakfast advertising is misleading. When a free breakfast talks about sausage, eggs, and something for everyone it pretty clearly implies a hot breakfast. In reality they had a handful of plastic clamshells with prepackaged hard boiled eggs, a tiny frozen sausage biscuit thing, some fruit and a yogurt cup. The pool was semipermanently closed as well… The one saving grace about this place is the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful and doing their best with what they had to work with.

As an Extended Stay property, we do not service rooms on a daily basis. If you are here for seven plus nights, we will do a light clean and a full clean during that time. This was standard policy before Covid and now, slowly getting back to it. I do hope that you reported the microwave oven not working and the floor being dirty so that the issues could be resolved while you were with us. We do hope that you will give us another try on your next visit to the area.

My room was clean and cozy. It was more like a mini apartment. I was able to cook myself a good meal, which is important as I don’t eat out. And it was quiet. The only minor issue I saw was that the tub was worn and had stains. I sprayed it down with bleach before and after I showered. Maybe that will clear them up but tiled standing showers would be a better choice and easier to clean

There were roaches in the room. The door was broken I had to be the Hulk to open and close my door as if someone tried to break in the room before. NO SERVICE AT ALL IN THIS HOTEL NOT EVEN ROOM SERV
Our stay could have been better, as the building and arrangement of the room was good, big room and kitchen. The big problem was that there were absolutely no room service during the 6 days of our stay, not even when we went out of the room for the entire day, the said they could not for COVID reason (in June 2022...?), so I was obliged to clean my room myself, change the towels every days (we have three kids), ask for towels and bed sheet at the lobby, this is no service at all ! No breakfast as the restaurant was closed due to COVID... In the room next to us, customer was smoking drugs eveydays !!! No one from the hotel told them to stop...

Sonesta Hotels takes the health and well being of its Team Members and Guests very seriously. We still provide full weekly service to our guests staying 7 or more nights. At anytime during a stay, Guests can bring their soiled linens and dirty towels to the Front Desk and we will gladly exchange them. We have never had a full service restaurant, the Grab-N-Go Breakfast Boxes have individually wrapped, nutritious items that are varied day by day. Again, we are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. Last leg of a multi-stop business trip
It was a spacious and comfortable room. It was definitely an older property. The surrounding area was not the greatest and was located right off of I-95 and a little loud at times. The breakfast was more of a bagged lunch type of thing. Not great but not bad either. There were not any restaurants within walking distance or that I did not feel safe walking back up to the main road. Door Dash was great though.

I did not like the breakfast in a bag..with all the money that you were paying to stay i think that the breakfast should've been HOT!!!!..not in a bag and COLD!!!!..and we didn't have enough bathroom tissue in the rooms..And the hot water in the kitchen did not get hot so that I could wash dishes l had to heat it up on the stove to get it HOT!!!!..I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THAT MY FRIEND'S OR FAMILY TO STAY HERE...BUT THE LOCATION WAS AWESOME!!!..

Sonesta Hotels still follow several of the CDC Guidelines regarding Covid-19 and serving a variety of individually wrapped items for breakfast is one of those items. It does take a minute for the water to get hot in the kitchen areas but, it does get hot and is certainly hot when running the dishwasher. Basic amenities such as paper towels, kleenex and bathroom tissue are always available at the front desk. Nichol, again we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Roaches every
Sonesta appear to be great but this suite had an infestation of roaches and other bugs in the kitchen areas and living areas. I notified clerk and nothing happened. The cleark told me I would receive a full refund and it’s been two weeks since May 14th stay. My sister had to leave do to the roaches and find another place to stay that night.

A spacious room for 2 with a apartment sized kitchen and living room. Very comfortable king sized bed with 4 decent sized pillows. A great stay indeed. The only draw back were birds singing around 5:30. I was impressed at how many different songs they sang back to back like they did.

Staff is great the property needs updating, and stop letting construction workers to stay here. They litter all their garbage beer bottles, and caps all over the property.

Peaceful Place - Perfect Suite!
Great stay - hotel was almost full but the ladies at the front desk were lovely, making sure they had appropriate accomodations for my booking. They knew I was on a long solo trip and were eager to ensure my comfort. This property was a quiet, peaceful oasis at the end of long stretch of mostly not so great places on same road leading to a very nice corporate center. Don't be discouraged - the Sonesta is worth it, plus the sheriffs office is right across the street!

This could be a really fantastic location there’s lots of restaurants by it there’s a Walmart Starbucks grocery store I loved how it set up like a suite however it’s not clean. Adorable kitchen the colors are terrible but the fact remains that when you walk inside the room it does not feel clean and it does not smell clean and they need to change the filtering system in their air-conditioning units I developed a horrible sinus infection from staying there.

The room was overall clean and in good condition. The exception to the cleanliness, was the brown stuff in the kitchen sink. If it was only a piece or two it would be one thing but there was a lot.

Unfortunately my family and I did not have a pleasant stay. We chose this location based on reviews but they were not accurate at all. Bathroom was not clean and there were several roaches roaming around the hotel room.
