The seasonal outdoor pool is on the terrace level, overlooking the city and the Bosphorus. The pool measures 25 meters by 6 meters (82 feet by 20 feet) and includes a shallow section for children. The gym boasts panoramic views of Taksim Square. Access to the gym is complimentary for hotel guests. Personal training is available for a surcharge. Pilates, taebo, and other classes are also available. Guests can unwind in the Turkish bath, sauna, and spa tub, or indulge in a traditional Turkish massage.

“Will definitely stay at this hotel again!”
absolutely loved it. The service was great, very helpful staff, and its location was perfect: Taksim square and the infamous istklal street infront of us and the beautiful bospherus view behind.. definitely ask for the bospherus view room.. what a scene. Loved it.. 1 week was not enough in Turkey.. will definitely come back to Istanbul again and will for sure stay in this hotel!!

We had a very nice stay at the Maramara Istanbul. The location was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
“Kids loved it, they didn't want to leave!!! Want to go a 2nd time”
The first impression we got about the hotel was that it is old, but when you got settled we were very comfortable. The service was excellent. Breakfast was super. Wireless internet was free. Our room was a little small; the third bed was put just in front of the window and in front of the desk so we couldn't use it for the laptop. View of the city was panoramic and we could also see the Bosphorus with an angle. Of course you, the hotel is in the heart of the city and close to all transportation. This was a real advantage.
“Location, Location, Location”
We don't really care about the spa, pools, restaurants, room decoration or TV channel selection. Our ideal holiday is one in which we spend as little time as possible in our hotel. If that doesn't sound right to you, our rating of this hotel might not be what you want. The check in process was seamless and took a total of five minutes. They instantly recognized us the minute we walked towards the counter. We were in our rooms really quick. It was my wife and me with our two-years-old daughter. The door opened to a room with a double bed an a baby cot. Impressive considering how all hotels we've been to before ignored that detail and made us call the reception to request a baby cot and wait for it to be brought and set up. It was 2am, so that was a big deal to us. The room and bathroom were spotless. The daily cleaning was excellent. We had technical difficulty with the Internet that was resolved next morning by a helpful staff. The bed was too soft and bouncy for our taste, but that's been our experience with all hotels we've been to, so we came to expect it. From the minibar, we got a small bottle of water from the and a small box of chips that our daughter got cranky over. On checkout, the minibar bill felt like a small fortune for what we got. For perspective, the small bottle of water cost us 12 times as much as it would've cost us in any restaurant across the street.
“Quality and comfort..”
l totally satisfied with my stay here at this hotel although staff at the reception desk do not seem to enjoy their job and reflects this to the customer,l enjoyed my entire stay.Hotel is the very central status and all is within a radius of 50meters.
“Fabulous”
My wife and I had a fabulous time in Istanbul and staying at the Marmara Hotel was a major reason for this opinion. Everyone from housekeeping, the concierge desk, to management treated us like VIP's. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located to the tram which you can take to see most of the tourist attractions. The tram is literally a two minute walk from the hotel. I would recommend getting a room that has a view of the Bosphorus. The views are magnificent and well worth the extra expense. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay at no other place on my next visit to Istanbul.
“I will stay there again”
I would say this locally owned and locally managed hotel has met this international traveler's high standard for a five star hotel. Excellent location.
