“Istanbuls best hotel”

Istanbul Sultanahmet was received with high expectations as the website indicates, and it did not disappoint. Start with the negatives as there are very few. No free wifi in your room so you have to go to business centre and on the first night i stayed computers in business centre not working,an extortionate 20 euros a day is charged should you wish to pay for internet in your room.Turn down service was not done on the first evening and the yummy turkish delight sweets were only given on 1 of the 5 nights i stayed. Lastly complimentary water was not provided on 1 of the nights Now with the positives. The entrance is hidden as it is in the heart of the sultanahmet but still stands out against the surronding buildings. Location is fantastic, walking distance, to all the main sites. Service was first class, very attentive and personal, accommodating your every need. Rooms were spacious with dvd player and ipod doc. Fresh fruit was provided in the room daily, the beds were very comfortable.L'Occitane products. Fitness room is small but ideal for the total of 65 rooms the hotel provides and never gets too busy. Sauna in the changing rooms with robes, slippers, and all the products provided in the changing room (shower in here is great) so you needn't bring a thing. Breakfast is delicious you can order a la carte and it is included in the price of £30pp! There are lots of cafes locally to have breakfast at 1/3 of the price. Try out the restaurant, dinner is amazing.

“Great hotel!! Great city!!!”

We were a bit nervous going to Istanbul in the winter, but the weather was perfect, sunny and in the 50's. There were no crowds and the people of Istanbul couldn't have been nicer and more gracious. This is truly one of the world's great cities. The history, culture and architecture are spectacular.

“A Must Stay In Istanbul”

The staff were outstanding - attended our every need. The hotel was beautiful - everything clean, wonderful extras (hairdryers, dressing gowns etc) - fab food put in our room every evening. Altogether wonderful. The perfect location.

“Outstanding Istanbul Hotel”

The Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet deserves its outstanding reputation. My husband and I recently stayed there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Our room was beautiful, the service was exemplary, the location was excellent (close to all the historic sites in the old city), and our room was extremely quiet. All the staff were very professional, pleasant and upbeat - from the conceirge who was extremely helpful with several requests for information to the doorman who helped us get into our cab to the airport at 4:00 a.m, in the morning. We loved our stay at this hotel!!!

“Very impressed”

Wonderful hotel, very friendly staff only thing missing is a pool. The food in the hotel could be improved but there are very good restaurants in the neighborhood
