Do not stay here. It is a concrete bunker of sorts, reminiscent of a prison. There is no wifi . The pool was closed by the health inspector but not communicated to guests - my father and I ended up getting Staph infections BAD. The manager or supervisor or whatever he is stole from us. We were booked for rooms that were $50 per night, but we were both charged $146 per night. Because of the exchange rate, neither of us noticed our cards had been over charged until they were already swiped. The windows are broken, as are the lights. There is no hot water, ever. It is a construction site.
We left after 3 nights and were supposed to stay 7, because the supervisor guy wouldn't refund the money owed, no matter how many times I asked. The supervisor dude also has a temper that was a bit scary - he screams at his employees when he thinks no one can hear, and it is really sad. Homophobic slurs were really hard to digest...its 2023...When we heard him yelling, started getting itchy spots from the pool and refusal to refund the money owed -that was enough for us to leave. This wrecked our trip. We had to shell out to get a hotel last minute while leaving almost 2k CND behind. Ultimately we had to pursue charges with the CND Consulate, as there is no other way for us to be refunded without police involvement. What a terrible experience! Boooo! Save yourself!
