Night worker (I think his name is Bobby) was very accommodating and helpful. He sets up breakfast which starts at 6 am. We needed to leave early and he provided bagels and fixings for us at 5:30am:)
Amazing staff, clean room and common areas, we travelled with a child and having breakfast included was key, there was a nice variety. I would recommend to anyone going to Houston for the first time.
The towels and sheets, pillows smell good. Staff at reception area very accomodating and smiling.

The staff was great, very nice and accommodated our needs but the room had a terrible smell to it and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Difficult to find. Located in the middle of a mostly residential area. Only one elevator and it is badly in need of maintenance. Bathroom has tiny bottles of shampoo; not hardly enough in there for one good hair washing. No bag for dirty clothes [always carry one with me]. At breakfast, one of the hotel employees was chatting with the other guests and he did not shut up for one solid minute...talked the entire time.
The water came out brown when I turned on the faucet. I let it run and by the time the hotel manager came and saw it; it was clear again… they switched my room… but still ! I wanted my money back and never got it! Horrible

When you reported the issue the manager went up to take a look and as you mentioned we did not see any problems but were still happy to provide you another room as a solution, we are sorry that did not expect your needs. Unfortunately your reservation was a nonrefundable reservation through a 3rd party (expedia) so there was nothing much we could do, also considering we did not have any other similar issues reported from other guest during your stay or guest that stayed in your room after you left . Thank you
