“Will Come Back Again”

For that price you get more than you expected. Good location to airport and lots of shops around. Convenient access to train station.The hotel reminds me of boutique hotels I stay in Tokyo - clean surrounding and friendly staff in attendance.The bed is comfortable for a restful sleep. The room space is small but it is fine with me. This trip I don't encounter mainland Chinese tourists but mainly SE Asia tourists, the atmosphere is friendly and not so noisy.

“Great alternative to high central prices”

Although this hotel is well out of the centre of Hong Kong it has good transport links on the MTR. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes, the room was small but this is Hong Kong. The local area has lots of places to eat so the lack of a hotel restaurant is not a problem. I enjoyed my stay here and I'd go back if I found myself in Hong Kong again.

“Very Good Hotel”

Reading the reveiws by other members i was a little apprehensive about coming to the Dorsett Far East Hotel. However i had a wonderfull experiance the room was clean, a very good size for the price and even big windows with a good veiw! For some people this hotel maybe a little far away from the center of town, but this is reflected in the price. The Metro is not very far away and its only a few minutes away from the center. Will stay there again on my next trip to Hong Kong. also There is a really nice bakery just next to the hotel, i think the opening times are 9:30am - 6pm. good value and great for a tasty on the go snack!

“beyond my expectation”

It's my first time trip to Hong Kong... a short stay for only one night and no plan for any sightseeing. I picked this hotel because its good price but the experience is obviously beyond my expectations. It is very clean, very well decorated and maintained. The room and the shower is small but the bed is close to queen sized. I'm not that big and use the room more for sleep or relax a bit. It served my purpose perfectly. There're many shopping malls around and restaurants from high end to cheap ones. The transportation direct to airport has the choices of taxi (220 HKD), shuttle bus (110 HKD) or street bus (19 HKD). I took the street bus (A31) and rode on the upper level to have a nice view of Hong Kong Streets along the route... in short, great experience and highly recommended.

“An GREAT hotel!!!!!!!”

I have been staying at this hotel for 10 days while I was in HK. The price for staying in this hotel is pretty decent. The best thing about this hotel is that it is clean and has great customer service! I like the way that all the hotel receptionists and the cleaning person have such a great customer service. The room is super clean and nice! My room actually has a nice view since it has big windows surrounding the room, etc. I will suggest this hotel to all the travelers!!! A+++

“Very pleasant little hotel!”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but provided absolutely everything we needed for our holiday. The hotel was very clean. The only drawback is that the hotel is located in the suburbs, approx. 30 minutes from Central island, therefore be prepared to travel this distance every day if you want to experience the city. Public transport is extremely reliable and the hotel is just minutes from the MTR. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

“Best budget hotel!”

With such a low price, there is really no high expectations; however, the staff treated me with 5-star service. The room is small, but it is comfortable with firm bed and bright view. The location is excellent, with different types of common transportation in Hong Kong.

“Third stay at this hotel”

This was my 3rd stay there, 6 nights each time. This time, room could have been warmer. The temperature control seemed to allow for "air conditioning", but even if I turned the dial all the way to 35 Celsius (95 Fahrenheit), the air from the register wasn't warm. Maybe the thermostat was broken. But that is the first time I've noticed any problem with temperature.
