I had a great time at The Haven! Very convenient location for anyone traveling on the Holyhead ferry. They were also quick to respond when I had a concern about not making my check-in on time.

Upon arrival was greeted by the lovely Phil, very nice man. The room was very clean, there was towels/shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Bed was very comfortable, me and my Husband slept well. We sayed 2 nights, and on both mornings we had a full english breakfast which was beautifull. Phil is very knowledgeable, anything you need to know just ask. We went in March and think in summer it would be just as nice a place. Thank you Julie & Mel.

This was a great place to drop in for a day in Holyhead. Very quiet, very clean, the staff was great to talk to during check-in and breakfast. There were several rooms in this bed and breakfast, but we didn't hear anyone else from any room. It was very nice. Highly recommend if you need a day in Holyhead.

Holyhead Haven
The Haven Guest House was the most comfortable hotel room I booked on my two week stay in the British Isles! It was extremely clean, well planned, and comfortable. My room was spacious and had an ocean view!

The haven. Spot on!!!
1st time stopping in Holyhead and read a few reviews of different places. The Haven came up tops on all aspects. Had to book it. Well; what a pleasant place to stay. Comfy room, very clean indeed. Near to local amenities free parking. I could go on. Just a spot on place. Excellent stay.

Decent room for cost can’t complain. Wouldn’t recommend for any potential romance in any way as could hear the room next door walking around and talking 😒

Sorry to hear you were not happy, sometimes we do have guests who stay with us who can be inconsiderate and can quite noisy. We are a guest house and this is beyond our control sometimes but we do endeavor to sought out problems in house if it is reported. Thank You.

Lovely clean and friendly welcome. Nice size room. BUT very cold at night because heating was turned off from 10pm-6am. We went to bed at 10.30 and left at 7am so no time for warmth

I love staying at The Haven before I go on the ferry to Ireland. The rooms are clean and modern and the hosts welcoming. Less than a five minute drive to Stena Line Ferries as well. I’ll be back next year!

Hotel was OK. Very short timer on the lights in the bathroom with the switch to restart the timer on the outside of the room. Also, ridiculous placards around threatening fines for everything from flushing a cigarette butt to charging your phone overnight.

Dear Wayne, thank you for your review. The timer on the bathrooms are 20 minutes. The switch has to be on the outside due to building regulations. There are safety notices (not placards) for guests safety. The sign about the charger, is requesting guests switch off the charger, when not connected to a phone, this is to prevent a fire from starting. The sign regarding the toilets, is polite and requests guests to only discard toilet roll down the toilet, as the toilets are macerators and anything else (like cigarette butts, as you said) would render the toilet unusable. There is a charge, for breaking the toilet of 50, as this is what we have to pay the plumber to unblock the toilet. The sign is not threatening, but informative. We wish you well, best regards.

Actually I do not stay there cause I changed my plan suddenly. On the check in day late evening I received their call asked about my arrival. I feel very warm and relieve they are good enough.

Dear Anonymous Guest, thank you for your feed back. As we never get complaints of noise, I can only assume you left your window open all night and as we are in a town, then you will get noise. You are the first guest to complain about the stairwell, (we have been open for 4 years), they are a standard width, so I am not too sure, why that is a complaint? With regards to the "Strict rules", I am not sure what you are talking about. We have some fire signs to ensure the safety of all our guests, but I am unsure what rules you refer to with regard "plug-ins, toilet and shower". As you are anonymous I am unable to contact you to get further feed back. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, if you had mentioned something on check out, we could have offered you some sort of compensation. Best wishes The Haven.

Really welcoming hosts, not far from town centre. Cleanest shower room I have ever seen. Whole room immaculately clean Three mins drive from the ferry terminal. This is a great find in the area and I highly recommend it. They have a car park but I simply used the ample free car parking at the front of the property. Thanks very much for a very pleasant stay. You really are a haven !

Would recommend for a lovely stay holyhead.
Location of Haven guest house is excellent its near the harbor & easy to find. There's free parking in front of the guest house. We received a warm welcome & stayed in room 4, (very spacious & has a window seat which over looks the harbor), Its lovely & clean with modern décor . There are places to eat within walking distance (would highly recommend 'Mandarin Royale'). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely return.

Great hosts. Tiny bathroom
Nice clean room and excellent hosts, my only complaint was the size of the bathroom in room #4 (single room). Probably fine if you're shorter than 6ft tall, but if you're taller good luck not bashing your knees on the wall when sitting on the toilet.
