IMMACULATE! I have never seen a shower or spa bath or hotel room for that matter so spotlessly clean. The room was so comfortable and had everything you might need for a short or longer stay. Tea kettle, coffee press, tea pot with strainer, kitchen utensils, etc. Everything was provided. Would definitely recommend!

Great property with spacious modern rooms and very quiet. In room facilities are modern and extensive. Location is a short few hundred metres walk to town centre for dining. Would highly recommend for anybody looking to stay in Hokitika.

Stopforths was a perfect base for our time in Hokotika. The room was well appointed, with good desk, table for playing games or eating, nice shower, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good proximity to center of town. A little tricky to find, but no big deal. All in all, an excellent choice and we'd come back again.

The most rude service in my New Zealand trip. Owner was arguably the most bitter lady I have met in this country. Also there is very limited parking. Please avoid this hotel at all cost.
