Very modern hotel with bohemian style decoration High ceiling in all rooms, a lot light and fresh air incoming Nice rooftop terrace Tasty breakfast and welcome drinks Very clean and neat room Soft and spacious bed with comfortable linen Area around hotel is dirty, it was surprising to find such a nice hotel in a street with destroying buildings and bags with garbage piled on the street

I had a fantastic stay at Madero B&B! It was my bday when I arrived and the staff surprised me with a gorgeous and delicious cake! I was speechless..they really made me feel special. And they were available to cater to needs for the whole 3 night stay. I loved everything about Madero. My room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Restaurants were only a few minutes walk away. Lots to choose from. Some may say Madero is a diamond in the rough; for me, it was such a wonderful experience to be right where locals live too. The cultural experience was priceless.

Beautiful room, very clean with all amenities. The staff was very kind, helpful, Pedro greated us with all necessary information . Breakfast was a real treat. The place to stay at Habana Vieja, very convenient walking distance to all the historic sites.

This quaint B & B exceeded my expectations. I stayed for 2 nights, solo traveler. I requested a taxi pickup and they met me at the exit with a sign. Upon arrival at Madero, I was greeted with a refreshing fruit drink and cold towel. Then showed to my room (#201). The room was clean and spacious. The entire hotel was newly renovated. The shower was clean with a waterfall shower head. Breakfast was included and included an omelet, fresh fruit, tea and toast. The room had a mini fridge with cold water and beer available for purchase. The room had individual air conditioning and a ceiling fan. It also had a safe with key. The location was extremely convenient. It was within walking distance to the main city center. It was also a couple of blocks from the ferry to travel to the Casa Blanca island. This B & B provided everything - securing dinner show tickets, money changing, taxi service, etc. The hosts were extremely pleasant. They also provide lunch and dinner if requested. Staff was always someone available. I definitely recommend this B & B and would revisit if I ever visit Cuba again.

My stay at Madero was excellent, the staff at the property made the experience all the more special, they were informative, helpful and super friendly; thoroughly nice people. The property itself is a lovely building with a nice, stylish interior. The room I had was huge, with a king bed, nice bathroom, big TV, aircon and a fan. The whole place was exceptionally clean. The included breakfast was fantastic: juice coffee, fresh fruit, toast and your choice of eggs or whatever else. The place is a few minutes walk to the rum museum and Plaza de San Francisco, and not much further to the main part of town. They offered a money changing service which gave a better rate than any ATM (read about the money situation before going to Cuba). I would recommend anyone to stay there when visiting Havana. Excellent.

Best in Havana!
There is not a better place to stay in Havana. Immaculately clean, kind, helpful staff, fantastic breakfast every morning with cafe Cubana, a great location for walking to sights and privately owned restaurants, a beer and a sandwich (from the kitchen) on the terrace in the evening is the perfect way to complete the day.

A gem in Habana Vieja. Had a bit of a bump during my stay but sure they know damage control. I love how they are particular with the details and always making sure the guests are well. Great breakfast too!

Perfect accommodations for ever traveler to Havana
The entire place was well kept and immaculate. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. The morning breakfast of fresh fruit, juice and eggs with a choice of meat every was excellent. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and museums. The Madero is a gem in Central Havana. I highly recommend.

We stayed at Madero for 3 night in November and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They provided recommendations for restaurants and set up 2 different ours for us. They were extremely helpful with setting up transportation. It was also my husband’s birthday while we’re were there. They bought him a cake and helped us celebrate his day!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful & couldn't do more. The property is very clean & breakfast is well presented. The property is in the midst of yet to be refurbished homes but this adds to feel of experiencing real Cuba. The B & B is well situated for the promenade & all the main sights of Havanna. Highly recommend.

Three nights in Old Havana
We arrived At night because our flight was delayed. Our room was given to someone whos flight was cancelled so we were our first night in a different and not so good hotel. However the staff was extremely nice and The manager said that we can have anything from the minibar as a compensation. The best part was that the staff got us an old car taxi to the airport.

Madero Bed and Breakfast
As we arrived we were given cold towelettes to use to cool us off after our long day of touring Havana . We were served a cold pineapple juice. We were then take to our room with the option of using the roof top terrace to relax in. This place has been reconstructed and done beautifully but is amidst the reality of what the Havana community is like right around this property. It is located in Old Havana and was very safe to walk the streets late into the evening. Our hostess was always making sure we had everything we needed.

J'ai beaucoup aimé cet hébergement et le recommanderais à tout voyageur qui veut être situé sur une rue tranquille, mais à un jet de pierre de l'action et des places clés de la Havane. Les employées étaient attentionnées et courtoises, toujours avec un sourire. Elles peut te préparer un cocktail, t'organiser un taxi et une excursion, et elles veillent à ton confort et plaisir en tout temps. La terrasse sur le toit était très plaisant, l'accès à l'hôtel 24 heures sur 24 un grand avantage, et le style et propreté des chambres était fantastiques! Pour un hébergement plus que plaisant, je suggère Madero à tous!

Sitio perfecto para alojarse en la Habana vieja
Un alojamiento muy cuidado, en la ciudad vieja, con un desayuno impresionante y con muchos detalles de hospitalidad. La zona está un poco dejada, como muchas casas de La Habana Vieja, pero es muy segura y a 100 MTS de la plaza Vieja
