As soon as we arrived at the property we were thrilled with what we saw. Jennifer welcomed us with a welcome drink and after sign in showed us our and explained everything we needed to know. We were treated as though we were a part of their family and all the staff were so willing to help in any way they could. We were stunned by the excellent breakfast and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to experience Cuban life and the Cuban people. Everyone is so friendly.

A beautiful historic restored hotel, in a central part of town handy to sites and restaurants. The loveliest and most helpful staff and that is something you often need in Havana. Delicious breakfast generous portions and define presentation.

Excelente hotel boutique
El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a minutos caminando de lugares de interes como el museo de la revolución, parque central, el Capitolio, la Floridita, calle del Obispo, por mencionar algunos. También está muy cerca de restaurantes y bares, a 1 minuto caminando del hotel. La atención en el hotel es excelente, Gloria, Andrés y Allev de recepción son lo máximo y harán de tu estancia la mejor. Nuestra habitación con buen tamaño, nevera pequeña, agua caliente, cómoda y limpia. Definitivamente me quedaría nuevamente en este hotel.

The experience at La Posada de Chacon was WONDERFFUL - and made so by its three concierges, Aliev, Andres, and Gloria. It was not simply their friendliness but how helpful they were in securing reservations or making suggestions (and frankly, MUCH better at making a mojito than most of the restaurants around). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable (my husband called it an oasis) and the breakfast was hardy and sufficient to get one through the day. An added benefit is the location - not so far into Habana Vieja that it is difficult to find but far enough off the main road that street noise was not an issue. If you visit Cuba, look no further - stay at La Posada de Chacon and be ready to receive a warm reception from Alieve, Andres, and Gloria!

We had a great stay here, the facility was perfect and centrally located, this made our time in Havana emjoyable and memorable...the staff thought, amazing and excellent at what they do...this is definitely the place to stay. The staff made sure we had access to services and connected us with some of the best, im sure, that havana had to offer...we will return to visit here on our next Cuba holiday. I cannot recommend La Posada de Chacón in Habana vieja enough. Our stay there, my husband's and mine, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the incredible staff - Andres, Gloria, and Aliev. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast prepared by the talented chef. Each morning, we were presented with a beautifully arranged spread that was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The attention to detail and the quality of the food truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was impeccably clean. It was evident that the staff took great pride in ensuring that every corner of the establishment was spotless. The level of cleanliness added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. What truly sets La Posada de Chacón apart is their unmatched customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure that our needs were met. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine care made us feel like we were part of their extended family. I am so often guilty of enjoying the reviews of others without sharing my own. La Posada de Chacon deserves that I set aside my reticence to speak up. This property and the people who make it work deserve to thrive. I have not stayed anywhere else in Old Havana; I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Sometimes you find a place and its people to be so special that you are instilled with a powerful belief that you are right where you are supposed to be. Some of my travels are hectic and scattered and great, but La Posada de Chacon makes me feel like I am having an adventure without leaving the neighborhood. I feel very comfortable here, and I have Gloria, Aliev, Andres, and the entire staff to thank for it. I hope other people - especially US citizens - consider staying here, and I hope they feel what I feel, to miss a place before you even leave.

Highly recommend this property! We wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was tremendously helpful and arranged transport and gave us great recommendations. The location is great and easy to navigate the neighborhoods. The room was very comfortable and very clean and the staff arranged for an added bed for our child. The breakfast was so good and the atmosphere was authentic and charming without being fake. Great place to stay.

It was such an amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The concierge, Aliev, Andres, and Gloria provided spectacular service throughout our entire stay at every moment. Staff are amazing!
The staff were amazing-so helpful, kind and friendly and have us so much practical help too which was invaluable. Apart from two occasions where we asked for the bed sheets to be cleaned and they weren't, everything else was top notch and we had a very comfortable stay.

What makes this place special is the staff - housekeepers, chef, and especially the concierge team -- Aliev, Andres, and Gloria were all absolutely fabulous. Honestly, the reviews about them seem over the top until you meet them and realize that they deserve every bit of praise they get. My trip was profoundly meaningful because of them. I spent so much time talking with them that I miss them already!

Amazing experience in this place, highly recommended in Havana. Aliev, Gloria and Andres (concierge service) were over the top. They answered all our questions, helped with everything we needed, were always attentive, extremely polite and friendly. I would say thanks to them our trip was as great as it was. If you come to Havana, you definitely need to choose this boutique private hotel. They will tell you everything you need to know about Havana. Thanks guys for our amazing trip!

Great hospitality and feel at home
First time visit to Cuba and we stayed here for 3 nights. Andrea, Gloria and Aliev made us feel right at home. The hotel is in the center of the old town and close to many great restaurants and attractions. The breakfast is excellent and the room is clean and quiet. They arranged all transportation for us, airport taxis, to beach, as well in the city. We will be back and stay here again next time in town.

WELCOMING AND WARM
THE POSADO DE CHACON IS LOCATED ON A TYPICAL OLD HAVANA STREET NEAR EVERYTHING YOU WILL PROBABLY WANT TO SEE. THE HOTEL IS SO QUAINT BUT THE MOST AMAZING PART IS THE SERVICE: FROM GLORIA AND THE REST OF THE FRONT DESK STAFF, TO THE SERVERS AND CHEFS, EVERY PERSON WE MET WAS WARM AND KIND. THE PRICE IS REASONABLE WITH A DELICIOUS WELL PRESENTED BREAKFAST. I WILL BE BACK TO POSADA!

Old Town Gem
Well located in the middle of Old Town, the lobby is beautiful in the middle of the city. The staff, especially Gloria, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, and the breakfast was great too. Highly recommend.

The location is great, and very easy to get to many of the city's hotspots. The staff and the concierge service they provide is amazing. The room has a/c and breakfast is included. They have English speaking staff. In regards to the internet WiFi is spotty at times, but very reliable. I was able to do a Zoom interview. The WiFi can be used in the rooms and the in the lobby. Lastly, they do an amazing job of communicating with you from the moment you book your stay.

The staff were friendly and a great help. The gave us good advice for visiting the streets of old Havana. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was also a great help with a first aid issue on day two of our vacation. Without their help, the trip may have well turned out differently.

Maybe the friendliest hotel at which we’ve stayed, anywhere, anytime. All staff members go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfast is very good, the location in old Havana is ideal, and the rooms are comfortable. Couldn’t recommend more enthusiastically!

Very good location, delicious breakfast and spacious rooms. But the best of all, is the staff that is wonderful and super helpful! They will make your trip excellent. We highly recommend the hotel and were very happy to spend time there!

Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Anything we needed (taxi service, dinner reservations, recommendations, etc) they happily made the arrangements. The breakfast was excellent and welcoming cocktail was a nice touch. The room we had was the last available so not the nicest, but appeared clean. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.

Christmas 2022 in Habana - thank you Gloria!!!
La Posada made a PERFECT first visit for us to Habana - and at Christmas! Gloria is AMAZING and the best host/concierge ever! Andres is awesome as well! They and the entire staff could not have treated us better. We were taken care of from check in to check out, and the team at La Posada is exemplary, friendly, and your best bet for local information. Gloria even arranged for two great shows for us attend and had a 1955 Chevrolet take us to one show at the Hotel Nacional. The hotel has perfect location for walking Old Habana with great restaurants in all directions. La Floridita is only 4 blocks away. Thank you all, especially Gloria, and we will see you all next year when we come back.

The Hotel La Posada de Chacon staff were very pleasant, professional, and accommodating throughout our three nights of stay there in late December, 2022. For example, when a taxi was needed, they arranged for it to pick us up very quickly. Loved the lattes (coffee with milk) that they made for my wife and me. Very delicious! Breakfasts of fresh fruit with eggs made to order were also excellent. Very much appreciated the gentleman with the well maintained 1956 Studebaker convertible with whom the staff arranged for my wife and me to have a very affordable and enjoyable 90 minute tour of Havana. Rooms are good-sized, very comfortable, furnished with quality furniture (including comfortable, large, queen-sized bed), and have very well furnished bathrooms with hot showers. To all of the staff at the Hotel La Posada de Chacon, thank you for having made our late December stay in Old Havana a very pleasant one.
