Nice Riverfront Cabin
Older place. Showing some wear but still nice. Perfect for the two of us and two dachshunds. Nice TV room. We went to get away for New Years weekend and not have to deal with the amateurs on NYE and watch some college football. Will go back if we do another "staycation".

Family Get Away
My kids and I gathered for my son's birthday. He loves to fish so I got a spot on the river. I don't fish but the early mornings on the deck provided excellent bird watching opportunities.

Beautiful River Cabin
The cabin sits right on the Snake River bank. Sunrises, sunsets, and every view in between are spectacular. It is a relaxing getaway with a wonderful host who lives next door. Very nice and welcoming people in nearby Hagerman and the Riverboat is a great local restaurant! One disappointment was the fossil beds are closed to the public due to safety reasons. No one’s fault but one of the main reasons we chose this locale was to visit them.

Kayakers paradise
Property was fantastic, perfect spot for kayaking, close to so many beautiful places! Thousand springs, Blue Heart springs, waterfalls galore! Could not have asked for a better place to stay. House was wonderful, deck looking over the water to relax on, and comfy beds for a great nights sleep. Tony our host was magnificent and we can’t thank him enough for his helpfulness 😊

My family and I spent a few days at Tony's cabin and it was wonderful! Comfortable, clean and very relaxing. Loved all of the birds and all of the little touches that made it feel like home.

Great spot with a great view
Had a great trip with a buddy and we took our 2 sons (10 years old) on their first hunting trip in and around Hagerman. Property was absolutely perfect for it. Ample space and warm (many heaters) with a fantastic view. The owner and Host Tony was an absolute gentleman and super easy to communicate with. He even helped us with some motor troubles. All in all, we will come back again!

Beautiful River Cabin
The sunrises over the river were amazing. The host had included many brochures and sight seeing suggestions in the cabin book. The kitchen and pantry were fully equipped. The only downside is no dishwasher but the location more than makes up for it.

Everything we needed for relaxing time
The cabin was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for the perfect getaway on the river. Two canoes, plenty of life jackets, two kayaks to rent, dock on the river, firewood for the fire pit, a gas BBQ grill also available. We saw roasting sticks although we brought our own. The cupboards were well stocked with those extra things you need for cooking, i.e. salt, pepper, oil, spices, pans, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. Roku TV with streaming channels was great for my kids. Close to miracle hot springs. We had a wonderful time.

Love this river cabin!
We have stayed here many times and it's always a pleasure. Tony is great to work with and we always have a wonderful stay. My favorite is sitting out on the deck in the morning watching the birds, it's so peaceful. As always, we'll be back!

It's hard to pick our favorite thing about this rental
My husband and I recently stayed at the River Cabin with our two dogs and it was absolutely perfect. I'm not sure what was best, the stunning, peaceful view of the river and animals and people out on it, the quiet location, or the delightful hosts who live a couple of doors down. They were available for a quick, friendly chat but not invasive at all. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit and look forward to returning.

Great little house on the river
This is a nice little house right on the river. We enjoyed the canoe, fishing off the dock, and the fire pit. Great for well behaved dogs, too. Well stocked with basics and tons of linens. There was a of stack of DVDs and some games and puzzles. Tony was responsive and friendly. It was a great weekend.

The River Cabin located along the Snake River will provide its guests with absolute beautiful sunrises and views everyday during their stay. If you want a place where you can kick off your shoes and relax this is the place!

Quiet Getaway!
This property was close by to the activities we enjoyed doing! It had a very nice view of the river also. There was no problems with us bringing our 2 dogs along. Tony was very friendly and helpful! The cabin was well stocked and very clean. Hope to be able to come back next year!

Lovely cottage on the river
This is a nice place with great amenities and room for a family. The owner is super friendly and so is the official 4-legged greeter, Olive. Conveniently located to all of the towns and attractions nearby. We would stay here again!

Family fun in the summer
We love staying at the cabin on the river. We fished, paddled, floated, played, and relaxed. Vacationing with teenagers can be challenging, but everyone is happy at the cabin on the river! We’re already looking forward to our visit next summer!

An unexpected treasure
The river cabin was the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The pictures don't do it justice. The furniture has been updated, there was a huge TV and entertainment system with streaming services, an updated bathroom, new carpet and flooring throughout most of the house. This was easily the most thoughtfully provisioned house I've ever stayed in. There were a lot of large, fluffy towels, spices and condiments, and all kinds of cooking equipment, e.g., crock pot, immersion blender, griddle, Kurig, coffee maker, microwave, etc. The bedding was very nice and there were lots of extra pillows and blankets, but the mattresses are very firm. There is a single air conditioner in the living room, but even with 103 temperatures during the day, the house stayed cool. The river is about 25 feet from the back door. The deck is awesome, and I can easily see spending the trip on the deck enjoying the perfect view. We didn't use the canoe, but it was nice to have it included. We traveled with people who were mobility challenged, and having a single story house with only three small stairs at the entry was a blessing. I agree with other reviewers that the large knife is the dullest thing I've ever encountered, and even the stick sharpener doesn't begin to help. If you're cutting watermelon or a pizza, bring your own knife. Tony, the host, was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this rental.

Great place to relax
We ended a four day 2100 mile road trip here while helping my daughter move. After four hard days of driving, the cabin was just the ticket to unwind and recharge. Had one small issue getting the grill to work, but Tony was on top of things and I shoulda figured it out if I hadn’t waited til after dark to fire it up. It did give us the chance to chat though, and get some handy info about the area from him. Cabin is very well stocked, better than any we’ve visited. The view of the river is peaceful and relaxing. Grocery store in town is very well stocked and prices didn’t seem out of line despite it being the only game in town(even open on July 4). Having the cabin owners dog come visit was also a great treat, as we were missing our pups back home. She’s a sweetheart.

Cozy little river cabin
We would definitely stay here again, this little house is so cozy! We didn’t want for anything while we were here. The house was just right for 2 small families, I was impressed for the low rates how the Bowlers have the place stocked perfectly and are very accommodating if you need anything. The water is beautiful, the back porch is great, the fire pit is great, your own dock for kayaking and canoeing galore, and close to the state parks. Tony is wonderful and Both he and Jane are some of the friendliest people we have met in a long time.

We spent little time at the property itself, but what time we did was great. Awesome view, great firepit. My only complaint would be the utensils provided. All knives were dull. Other than that, super awesome stay.

Beautiful location
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here!! The home is super comfortable with comfy beds (so important to me), soft silky cotton sheets, comfortable living room & porch for relaxing, nice yard and dock, kitchen with plenty of cooking tools, AC throughout the home, nice insulation to stay cool, & nice bathroom. The house is older, so don’t expect it to look like the Ritz Carlton, but it was as comfortable. It is on the river!! We toured the town with great historical sites, fisheries, the Oregon Trail & so many waterfalls on the river! We kayaked & canoed our last day to see many of the falls! It was beautiful! Oh! And Tony, the owner is a super nice man and we enjoyed meeting him on our last day. Of course he answered our Q’s throughout through VRBO. Thank you Tony for the wonderful time!

River Cabin
We had a great stay at this little cabin. I was glad that we stopped by a month earlier to check out the property. I would have thought it would have been more secluded and larger than it actually is. The cabin was clean, but small. We took our 5th wheel to accomadate our large group. It helped with the 2 extra beds and bathroom in the camper. The cabin is right on the river. It has beautiful views. Kids fished right off the dock. The only thing that turned me off a bit was the debris and just stuff right next door. Kind of scary walking through there to toss the garbage in the dumpster. Overall a nice place to relax and enjoy yourself. Owner was helpful when then we couldnt figure out the TV. But we really were not there to watch TV. Also the internet is pretty slow. But again, I really didn't care about that, but someone else might.

Girl’s Getaway
This property proved perfect for our girl’s getaway! We pretty much lived on the covered front porch where we could watch the river and the wildlife. The cabin is rustic, but immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Cabin was very clean. Very well stocked. If you plan on cooking you may want to bring your own skillet they have to small skillets. Oh, we caught a few nice size trout from the dock.

River Reverie
This is a great place to relax and hang out with family. Its wall of windows looking out on the river is perfect to enjoy no matter what the weather. The house is very well supplied with whatever you might need and extras, as well as reading, games, and movies for preschoolers through adults. I especially enjoyed all the books, art, and information that showcased the area and Idaho. We were the first to enjoy a new remodel with new fixtures, paint, carpet, and TV. We will definitely come back, perhaps with our kids and grandkids next time.

This was a great relaxing get away. It was the perfect size for our family of 4
I really enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise and the birds on the river. The house had everything we needed, even a BBQ with propane.
