They have to have more places to eat snacks not only in the beach, in the bravo area only use to have pizza and hot dog, but hamburger and another options was missing, and if u are located in the building 10 you should walk a lot to eat a snack

I loved the area and everything inside the hotel, the staff were very convenient and took care of me right away. The only problem was the watered drinks and the flies in the food from time to time. I loved the water they provided had no other taste but tasty and refreshing. They didn’t clean my room unless I told them and all of my things were safe even when I left my purse to go for a swim in the pool. Loved everything.

People were great. Entertainment was fun. The pool was clean but had leaves and flies that would fall in at times I felt it should’ve been cleaned more often seems like they clean it every morning but it was crazy dirty I just have OCD. Food was good some days better than other.

So the first day I arrived to the property, the drainage for the shower was horrible. All of the water came out of the shower and spread it all the way out to the bedroom area, getting on my suitcase and all of my belongings. When that happened, I tried to reach out to the front desk to have somebody come down and the phone didn’t work, but on top of that, there was no directory on the phone to know who to call or what extension I might have to use. Every day the toilet would not flush so we had a constantly call someone to come and fix the toilet mind you I wasn’t put in toilet paper in the toilet. I was putting it in the trash barrel. Room service was horrible every morning, I’ll put the sign on requesting for room service. The only thing that they would do is change the towels the day before I left. I called and asked them if they could come to room service and they asked me. What did I need to get done.. food horrible & it seemed like a lot of locals came to the property so try to get a drink was kind of impossible, especially when you don’t speak the language and they kno you’re a tourist

Liked the room accommodation, friends and courteous staff, and landscape. Was disappointed with the first assigned room #4201 (no working TV, uncleaned phone, shower stall and toilet and insufficient and no bath, face and hand towels ) fortunately I met and made my complaint to Juan (manager) who made everything right and the remaining of my time happy.

I recently went to this resort for a family event, but unfortunately, our experience was not satisfactory. Upon check-in, the staff failed to provide us with important information about the resort's restaurants and amenities. We also faced a shortage of towels, and had to wait until 3 pm to get beach towels. In addition, there was only one towel provided per person in our room, even we requested more we were denied and told we had enough towels; the phones were not working. The shower water leaked into our room, causing inconvenience. Furthermore, the AC control remote was not functioning properly, and to make matters worse, the power went out in our room, taking up time from our vacation (waiting for this issue to be fixed). The hotel staff then transferred us to another room. On the last night of our stay, we discovered that there were three restaurants on site, but were unable to dine there as we had not made a reservation. Had we known, we would have made necessary arrangements. To check-in early, we were charged $40, but still had to wait regular time to get our room at 3 pm. During check-out, we were charged an additional $30 to stay until 3pm; which was not communicated to us earlier when I asked if it was extra cost. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit, do not see myself staying here again.

Ive stayed at a few resorts in other countries and one on the other side of the island in Samana and this one was very disappointing for so many reasons. We booked an adults only room which put us in an adults only building (4) with private amentities (pool & jacuzzi). The beds around the pool have clearly not been washed anytime recently as they were green and gross looking. The pool in that area definitely hadnt been serviced the entire length of our stay. You could see the green algae on the walls of the pool above the water and the water was foggy the entire week. Their timeshare presentation was 90 minutes long and not worth the reward. They were pushy, espexially at the end when they discussed pricing and insisted that we put money down otherwise we couldnt revisit the subject. The reason we did sit through it is because Santo explained that he gets a reward for getting us to sit down with them. Considering he was phenomenal, we were happy to do this. The staff was ugh. Half the time we couldn't get water with meals (or even a greeting). Unless you stared someone down, waived money around, or had a members bracelet, they don't acknowledge you. There were also ALWAYS people around trying to sell us things (excursions, souviners and not on the beach) The staff that stuck out and provided fabulous service- Santo (conceirge), Luis (beach staff), Carmen (wait staff in restaurants), Anthony (waitor in restaurants), and Tony (bar). Luis especially was PHENOMENAL.

We checked in our room was ready but we were brought to four different rooms because mold was on the sheets and curtain in three of the rooms, in addition to, two of the rooms the safe did not work, and one the closet door was broken, the last room we were hot and fed up so we stayed but that room had a cracked his and hers sinks, the closet door was broken, the ceiling was peeling, the shower door was not deep enough so the water would leak out into the hall area. We had to line the shower doors with towels to avoid the water leaking into the bedroom, when asked for facecloths the staff would say wait five minutes and never come, when we asked for a laundry bag the night before checkout they gave me a large trash bag and asked me to cut the bag, there was no one to help carry bags out of the rooms during checkout but I did not mind doing that, the resort has a QR Code to register for dinner and mine nor my daughters did not work when we went to the desk to have them register us manually they made us wait until 9:00pm to eat. The resort was boring, the pool closed early, the bar did as well with everyone sitting around with nothing to do or see. The food was almost the same every night and it was not a good selection of food.

The extraordinary care and dedication of the office customer service staff; namely Marina,Yajaira and Kaila and the Emotions concierge Scarlett were EXEMPLARY!!! They went the extra mile multiple times to assist myself and my family member during our time of need - we will never forget their sincere and authentic desire to help out with whatever we needed during our stay at Emotions. We found the grounds to be well maintained and charming, the food in the main dining room was always fresh, plentiful and varied. Our rooms were clean, bright and airy and overlooking the ocean; always cleaned and refreshed daily and extra service was provided promptly when requested. The bed with it's lush supply of pillows was like sleeping on clouds. I appreciated well functioning air conditioning in addition to a ceiling fan. Getting to the hotel was challenging due to some local road & building maintenance and the back alley entrance area can be a bit off putting -- but from the moment we stepped out of our rental car the staff at the Emotions Hotel made us feel welcomed, safe and they all worked hard to make our stay memorable and enjoyable!! The jewel of the resort inside the walls of the back alley entrance and the staff there are well worth the search. I would go back in a heartbeat and would be delighted to reunite with the friends I made while staying there!!

Property was nice, needs some upgrades to the rooms. I did not like the admitted solicitation into timeshare as soon as I got out the taxi. Other than that I would come back.

The staff was very friendly. The beach was amazing. My issues were that the music being played at the disco/club need to be more diverse, the food was horrible, and there needs to be daytime entertainment and not only nighttime entertainment.
