There is much to see in the city. The hotel is located in a newer business area so it is a bit far from the scenic old city. There are sufficient restaurants nearby so the travel is not a big issue. Don’t miss the Provincial Museum. It is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Tim who works at the ground floor concierge is a helpful staff.

Exceptional luxury experience. Staffs are polite and professional, room services are truly outstanding. Also great surprise to receive a very beautiful gift box of delicious moon cake. Will definitely plan to come back to stay in the future.

The attitude of one of receptionists is very bad, whose name is Richard. He was always using Wechat during check in. I’ve been waiting for a while in front of desk, but he was playing mobile phone till I say I’m here for check in. Other staff are excellent.

Four Seasons of Luxury & Style
The hotel is impressive. I loved the check in on the 70th floor and the atrium was breathtaking. Overall the service was very good. Staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. The room was very comfortable. However the layout was a bit odd in terms of the placement and location of items in the room. For example, there was no bin next to coffee maker and mini bar , so you had the option to leave your trash on the counter Or walk across the room to drop it in the bin. Similarly with tissues. No tissues placed in the room, so a walk to the bathroom was required each time you wanted to wipe your hands or sneezed. The lighting in the room was also not as flexible as one would hope. The view on the other hand was spectacular. I we had a river view room and was very impressed with the large windows creating a live canvas. Breakfast was fairly good. There was a decent selection of items on the buffet. Fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts and pastries. My go to breakfast item when we indulge at a stay in a hotel is always Eggs Benedict or poached egg on toast. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer that option. Only fried egg or omelettes were available. The toasters were also old and needed replacing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. One of the better Four Seasons experiences we have had. I would definitely go back and would also recommend the hotel.

Rather disappointed stayed.
I stayed for 2 nights at 2 different rooms. At first room, there was a noticable stained at the sofa and there were an expose electric cables (in my opinion very dangerous) at the bathroom wall lights. At 2nd room, the bed was too soft compare to 1st room at 1st night and leaking shower head which a simple tighten solve the problem. The check in was slow and the room service was very slow too. I am disappointed as these were not reflect four seasons quality. However the Guangzhou tower view was amazing and the pool was great too. The hotel interior is great too. A walking distance to malls and great location for business travellers.

Canton Fair
I stayed at the Four Seasons while attending the Canton Fair. While the fair is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the hotel they do have bus shuttles every 15 minutes which I found to be very convenient. I usually took a taxi home at a cost of about $4.
