The property is "fine". Older style, but clean and pleasant enough to relax in. The reception is only in operation from 9-5 6 days a week and not on public holidays which is fine, but means that if you have any issues after this time, there's no way of solving them. For example on our last night, a smoke alarm just outside my room started "chirping" at 8 pm on a public holiday and there was no way of stopping it, no spare battery etc. Every time it chirped, my nervous system woke up, so had more or less no sleep. When I told the staff, they sort of shrugged and offered no apology, just wrote it down as a thing to fix. I didn't want a discount or anything but they just didn't seem to care.
Be aware that the property is brilliantly located for the beach, but a ten /fifteen minute walk to restaurants etc
Pool area well maintained. Kitchen well equipped. Hot water plentiful. I would say overall the experience was fine, and for the cost, value for money.
