"It’s a nice, clean and modern hotel with kind and helpful stuff. Loved that they had an electric kettle and coffee-maker in the room. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the Ghent-St. Peter’s train stop, which get you to/ from Brussels. Only downside is it’s about a 35-minute walk (albeit a scenic riverside stroll) from the medieval center of Gent, where all the biggest attractions are. I didn’t mind the walk back after eating too much frites, beer and waffles. "

"Leonard met us and gave us a warm welcome to his palace. We then spent a wonderful two nights there. Each room is fabulously designed with home made artwork and decoration. There are a lot of little extras that Leonard offers like Kayak rental or his home crafted Vermouth. Good if you want an interesting place to stay above and different from the norm of just a place to sleep."

"The reception staff were extemely friendly and knowledgable, cycle parking/storage was easy and safe. The only downside was having to get a taxi into the city but still, it wasnt too much of an issue. "

"The hotel was easy to reach by tram. Sites were close by as well as a number of restaurants. The coffee machine and ability to fill your water bottle at reception were very handy. Rooms were clean and looked to be newly renovated. Common areas were very nice. "

"Although not a typical B&B (no breakfast offered), we would readily return to this accommodation. It is charmingly situated in the old town and very conveniently located to tour the beautiful city of Ghent. The proprietor was exceedingly friendly and helpful. It is small, consisting of two rooms and has no frills, but it was comfortable and met all our needs. It would me more convenient, if the owner accepted credit cards. Cash only is accepted now. We did not use the parking, so cannot...
