Like the decoration of the hotel. The room is pretty spacious and has a nice mountain view. The room is clean. It is a relatively short walk to the train station.
Overall nice hotel. The biggest problem for us was a bathroom. The tub with shower handle was under the slanted very low ceilling and it required special acrobatic skills to take shower. Everything else was acceptable and good for the budget hotel.
Had a bit of difficulty with check in as we were not arriving before 6 and despite filling out all of the required info on the website days before, had not received an email with check in information. Received at about 5:30pm on day of check in as we were driving. Caused some anxiety because there was no staff at the desk.
Room was bigger than expected, beds were a bit creaky and not comfortable. Bathrooms were not quite as clean as I would like. Breakfast cost more than is written on Expedia's website (29 euro for 2 vs. 24 euro as listed on the website)
For the price, I was satisfied with the stay for one night, but not sure if I would recommend for longer stays.

It’s quiet location. But window curtains is clear white, I wake up 5:30 at sunrise, couldn’t sleep again
Beautiful property with self check in so if you don’t like that then that’s a problem.
The room was clean with a comfortable bathroom.
The breakfast was great and priced right! And the breakfast room looks out onto the wonderful garden!
It’s a great place to stay!!
There was no coffee in the room. The coffee wasnt working. Katrina at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Great location, half mile to downtown Fussen, easy walk.
This was a lovely place that was very quiet and comfortable. An easy 10 minute walk to town was definitely very enjoyable!

The room was between the kitchen and eating area. We were awakened at dawn by noisy kitchen staff banging around and talking in full voice. Every person coming to breakfast sounded like they were walking through our room. Horrible placement for a guest room. The room was nice, but needed sound-proofing for that location. English was not well supported. Would not return and would not recommend

Overall our stay was good. The rooms were small but clean, everything worked, and the location worked well to access the Old Town area. The exterior of the property could use a little TLC.
The property is NOT as advertise there is NOTHING to do there, the service is not existing and just plain rude.
We pay for a big room but got a small one, I told the guy at reception he just told me, NO. Then he rush us out of the room with out even helping with the bags to another room.
There is no bar, no amenities, is just a room with rude staff.

sorry for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately, the guest had given a wrong name when "checking in".
Therefore the wrong allocation of the room took place.
Unfortunately, the guest's description is very subjective and wrong.
His description of the employee testifies to the appreciation of people who provide services.
The Hotel Villa Toscana is a Garni Hotel as it is advertised.
The property was nice and well-kept. The breakfast buffet was excellent as was the hotel service. The only problem - was having difficulty taking a shower because of short ceiling - I could not stand!
Very cute & cozy. We had a private patio off of our room as well as a bottle of red & white wine (available for purchase). It was so nice after a long day of travel and sight seeing to enjoy a glass of wine on our secluded patio.

Villa Toscana
Villa Toscana is in a beautiful setting and a beautiful building. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast outstanding. The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous. They gave us a great recommendation for a Gasthof within short walking distance which my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to stay here again if we have the chance to return to Germany.

An older style building but with lots of charm. We booked last minute and ended up in a clean, spacious room overlooking the mountains. The WiFi was complementary and worked perfectly and the bathroom was clean. We were up and out early so didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
Room was good for the price, clean and comfortable. WiFi was terrible, devices could not stay connected and kept getting booted off. TV had no connection/reception/channels. Overall it was a good stay with a great location.
The room location was good facing the alps with balcony but it smell cigarette .and wife went crazy with insects inside the room. Breakfast was excellent with staff are good
Good hotel located on a large property with decks and outside grounds. Elevator access to a small renovated room. Bathtub/shower. Roof is sloped so it is difficult for a tall person to stand in the shower. Bar and breakfast in hotel. Good free perking.
Nice hotel with good sized lot for parking. Only con is that room 10 on the first floor is basically a bedroom next to the room where they have a bar and breakfast. You can hear everything and if people are in there late it can keep you awake. The room however is nicely decorated and had nice patio doors to sit outside.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Toscana. The hotel does have an elevator! When we arrived, the receptionist could tell we were tired and hot from the walk from the train station to the hotel. She immediatly asked if we would like a cold drink from the bar. Since we arrived before the check in time, we took her up on the offer. She took us to an outdoor patio where we sat to cool down and enjoy our drinks. It wasn't long after that when the receptionist informed us our room was ready. It was still before the official check in time. The room is an average size with a nice sized bathroom. It suited our needs. I found the bed to be very hard so I didn't sleep well the first night. In the morning, I asked if they had a foam I could use on my side of the bed. Nothing was available so instead we decided to try using a folded duvet for me to lay on. It worked. The staff again was very accommodating. Our room was on the main floor. We had a private patio with a table and chairs. We sat out on it and enjoyed the view of the hotel grounds and the mountains. It was very relaxing. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet. I think it cost 9 Euros. No regent doing that. The hotel isn't too far from the town or the train station. We took a taxi from the hotel to the train station the morning we left. The cost was only 6.50 Euros. We'll worth the money not having to drag our suitcases back to the train station.
Hotel Toscana was lovely, and a very relaxing place to end the day. I was especially appreciative of the wooded surroundings, the window/skylight in the bathroom, and the lovely deep bathtub. Breakfasts were great as well. Very comfortable and very reasonable. Lots of amenities for the price.
The villa looks nice only from the outside. Stuffy small rooms which did not fit the description provided at the time of booking; very small room with almost no place to walk around, very poor bathroom amenities; very indifferent and even aggressive reception staff - bad bad
Gorgeous hotel in a quiet corner, yet close to everything.

Nice hotel but a few issues.
The wifi didn't work at all during our stay. We had a mountain view room but it was just trees. If we leaned out the window or went to the back area, the view was nice of the mountains. The staff was very nice. You could get breakfast for about 10 euros. The elevator turned off at night, 20:00 or 21:00, and didn't turn on before we loaded up before 8:00. There was parking at the site.
Generally a really nice place. Nice view on the city. Decent breakfast. Biggest downside is that there is a spotlight lighting the building and it aims straight at my window.
