Feb. 22, 2019It is typically rainy in the area so be prepared to do things in the rain. The area is beautiful but it is a rainforest so know that when you plan your trip and roads are twisty / steep on either side of Franz Joseph - plan accordingly.

Jan. 11, 2019We walked to the base of Franz Joseph Glacier it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. We ate lunch at the base waiting for the sun to come out for our pictures. We took helicopter tour of Franz Josef and Fox Glacier. Landed on Franz Josef with blue skies
