The pool was very dirty when we arrived. It was very busy. The pool bottom was slippy with grease and there was things floating on the top of the water. I didn’t want to go in for fear of becoming ill.

They do not offer a 5 star service or facility. Only half of the complex is new but the rest the regular comfort rooms are in the old building which is under remodelation. I had to stand hammering noise and thumping until the last night of the stay we were moved to another room but only because Expedia advocated for it. The first night I complained I was not even offered to be moved even though they were men outside ny window eith latters and tools climbing up and down for construction work. Horrible experience

I was given a room with no working AC and it was over 90f temps and had a completely sleepless night and they finally moved us to another room the following night after a lot of hesitation and repeated follow ups. I would stay away from this place!

The resort was well laid out with all of the facilities you would normally expect (pool, spa, etc.). The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Their ability in English was somewhat limited, but no major problems were encountered. Meals were exceptional with a wide variety of choices. They have an onsite tourist office that made booking transport to/from airport, visits to local attractions (the falls are a must), very easy and efficient. The only downside was the amount of construction taking place just outside the resort area (widening of highway) which was out of their control. Although this slowed down getting in / out of the resort, there was no noise issue once you arrived. Overall, I highly recommend the Eco Cataratas Resort for long / short-term stays.

Very conveniently located to get to Iguacu falls. Hotel was great for our family and having two swimming pools was really nice. Lots of activities for the kids. The main swimming pool is very nice, but can be loud and busy so it was nice to go to the smaller, quieter pool at times.

The air conditioners in the 'comfort' section of the hotel were so loud that they shook the rooms. Every room has one of those external compressors and the windows were sliding glass wisps that partially closed over metal, ventilated window enclosures. The bathroom light could not be turned off as well. One of the worst hotel stays in the last 25 years of business travel.

Warning: this hotel is freemium to the point of scammy. Most of the amenities are paid additionally and all of them are designed so that you pay for things you don't really want. You can't tell from the pictures but the architecture of the place is tasteless and designed to give the appearance of offering way more than it actually does. My stay was short but I really enjoyed the buffet and the room service options they offer. The buffet area has a stunning view Foz de Iguacu. In addtion the hotel is very close the the Iguazu Falls which is the main attraction. They offer tours and transportation to the falls. They also helped me find a place to the local currency (Brazilian Real)

The in room cleaning was terrible in the comfort rooms, make up stains on the bedding and empty toiletry bottles left in the shower, bugs on the bed etc. However the staff was lovely and accommodating. Also the tour company on-site was very helpful.

Clean property- looks like new. Beautiful hotel grounds, very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great with many offerings. Hotel is in a safe area. We had a room with a double bed and 2 twin beds for our family of 4. The room was huge and very clean. We would certainly stay here again. Everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. It had activities for all age groups. The breakfast had a wide range of choices. Staff was courteous and rooms were spacious and very clean.

Short and perfect stay
My son and I loved this hotel from the moment we stepped through the door. The service was amazing, the food was outstanding and the facilities were immaculately clean. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing.

Great hotel for going to visiting the falls.
This hotel is perfect for staying a couple of nights when you go to the falls. Make sure you stay in the new section of the hotel. The older section is very old and tired. A very nice breakfast and a very pleasant staff. The pool is beautiful. The view from the hotel is great and relaxing. You wouldn’t think so because across the street has tourist entertainment no worries we didn’t hear anything. A tip you can urber/taxi to the falls. We purchased tickets on-site. This was during the off season. Super easy. You don’t need to have a special tour to get there.

The hotel was much better than the pictures show. The dinner buffet was excellent value and the breakfast was great. Would stay here if you are planning on visiting the Brazilian side of the Falls or even want to stay close to the airport

Lovely place

Hotel is good and all staffs are gentle, but at first I missed the hotel because of Expedia. The hotel address shown on this app was different hotel. There are very similar hotels in Fos do Iguazu.

If you want a souvenir of ants, it’s a good choice
We chose this hotel due to its location near the airport and it certainly was good for that reason. However, the actual hotel was not impressive - we had multiple ant sightings throughout the room, bathroom, and near the beds. We also didn’t have a working lock on the door. Since our room faced the parking lot (2nd floor,) there were full metal coverings on the windows blocking all light and effectively losing any ability to look outside. Lastly, the air conditioner was incredibly loud all night, even in “quiet” mode. We were not impressed and wouldn’t suggest this hotels to others.
