The hotel is very nice, I enjoyed the large t.v, the comfortable beds and the full size toiletries in the bathroom. All of the employees were very friendly also! But I wasnt impressed with the breakfast, especially for the price. And the coffee was pretty bad. Even the starbucks coffee in the lobby wasnt good, it tasted old.

We showed up and checked in at about 4:30pm. When we got to our room on the 7th floor, we were literally right across from the elevator, so all night we just heard the dinging and people getting on and off the elevator. The thermostat in the room didn’t have a difference between heat and A/C, just on or off, so we had it set at 80 degrees and it was still blowing cold air. The bedding was still damp on the bed. Overall, it is a very nice hotel, we just weren’t impressed with this experience.

Sadly i did not get to enjoy my stay, booked for the weekend for a rather large CarShow event. Really bad weather came in half way through my visit and i had to leave early. Paid for 2 nights and only got to stay for 1 of those nights. Hotel was beautiful, my luck on the other hand was horrible.

Rooms are spacious and pretty clean. No musty smells, no bedbugs, and no smoke smells in our room. We did appreciate having an actual door on the restroom (rather than a barn door) because it offers more privacy. Overall it was pretty good. There is no in-room dining at night, so pick up your dinner...a couple fast-food places and Buc-ee's are close. Shower/tub combo slippery. Room was a bit too warm. Remote didn't work, but the engineer arrived very fast and fixed the issue right away. I'd give more stars if the clerk would have put me in the room I actually chose "with golf course view." I don't know if this is a failure on the hotel's part or Expedia's, but it shouldn't be an issue to give people what they've contracted for. Once we lugged up our luggage to the room, I would have had to call, complain, and move (if such a room is even available). The hotel apparently permits smoking right outside the entryway, which is absolutely unacceptable. Covid left many of us with asthma issues and struggling to breath, so a smoking section should be provided far, far away from any entrance/exit. It was disgusting to have cigarette smoke hanging in our hair on a 4 hour drive home. I had to use a rescue inhaler within seconds of exiting this hotel. Please fix the check-in and provide what your clients contracted for and designate a smoking area that does not compromise people's health. Customers shouldn't have to raise either of these problems or manage your hotel for you.
