A Week at the beach

Perfect for large family
This house was perfect for our large family! Every bedroom had its own bathroom which was great! 5 minutes to the beach & plenty of beach chairs at the house. We were able to walk to everything & there are plenty of restaurants open! The pool & hot tub were great too! We had a great time here!

House and location are wonderful!
Loved the house! Pool and hot tub heater were not working the whole week we were there. Very disappointing! Some of the bedding had not been washed. Code to get in the front door did not work. Great location! Beautiful house with views of the ocean! Great for a big family!

The property was attractive and did fit our needs. However, there was no pool table or ping pong table. Nor was there any furniture on the main level as was shown in the pictures.There wasn't much for us to do as most things were still closed we found due to the hurricane. There were minor repairs, ex lights not plugged in, lights burned out, door knob to elevator in need of repair, front step broken. We did have fun, the property just wasn't quite what we are used to with vrbo

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The pool/jacuzzi was wonderful, there was more than enough space for the 15 of us to be comfortable and it’s location is absolutely perfect. Moreover, Carolyn the property manager was always very responsive and helpful. We look forward to returning!

House not ready to rent post hurricane Ian.
House was clean inside. However, multiple issues were present. Yard was overgrown with tall weeds everywhere. One garage had no door and was open to the elements. Electrical issues with no lights or ceiling fans on patios or the pool area. No smoke detectors in the house. Pavers on patio overgrown with weeds. Trash cans had not been emptied and were smelling. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend or use again.

Multi- Generation Family Vacation
The home is beautiful, and the location is amazing with the beach just across the street. I would have loved to give the property a 5 star rating, but there were a few things that kept me from being able to do so. The first was the communication from the owner/property manager. When we were arriving she let us know that the cable was not yet restored after the Hurricane last fall and she had added a tmobile hotspot instead. My husband works exclusively online and this could have been a major problem as he is the sole proprietor. Thankfully he was able to make it work, however communicating this change prior minutes before we arrived on property would have been much better. There was no pool net, and the area around the pool needed some attention as well. There were also no lights on the ground floor patio or in the pool for evening enjoyment and despite reaching out to Carolyn about the lights we received no answers or help. She did provide a pool net. There was only 1 smoke detector installed and working that we could see and the others were missing, no blinds or other window treatment on the massive sliding doors upstairs. I would suggest a home manual with information about the home's features, elevator, and pool, trash day etc. With that said, we absolutely loved the home and would absolutely return to the property. Many of these details were probably overlooked when reopening the home after the Hurricane last fall and that was taken into account in our rating.

Great location
Although the location was great, the property was advertised as having a lift/elevator. We were 6 senior women that had to walk up/down 34 steps because the elevator was locked. The 3rd floor bathroom cabinets had growing mildew. The kitchen had broken appliances / cracked glass coffee pot and not well stocked. By chance we were able to get the elevator working half way through our stay.

Great Family Vacation
The home was perfect. An elevator for our 84 year old father, pool for the kids, short walk to beach, and hot tub for the adults. Short drive to other beaches in the area, and access to fishing and water activities. Great restaurants nearby. My family greatly enjoyed our time and were very happy with our accommodations.

Christmas in July
My husband and I, our 4 kids and their families celebrated Christmas at the beach house.. easy access to the beach! We did a lot of cooking, with each family taking 1 day each to prepare the 3 meals. The kitchen was great to work in and it was supplied amply for a big group.

Great vacation home close to a nice beach
This property had plenty of amenities and easily accommodated our 12 adults and one 2 year old toddler. Very nice pool and hot tub as well as pool table and ping pong table. Although the ping pong table was not flat and the net not tight it was fine for our use case (no Olympic games). The elevator was great to have considering the 3 levels. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Only minor issues were 1. lack of instructions for the hot tub and pool. 2. ice maker in refrigerator not working (but they provided a countertop unit), 3. kitchen knives dull, 4. could have used a few more coffee mugs, 5. circuit breaker tripping in basement level that fed both the aux refrigerator and room a/c unit. We shut off the a/c unit so frig would keep running. Room cooling was still OK by simply leaving door open so it would be cooled by other a/c units. Jessica was very responsive the few times we needed to call. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

It's close to everything and the beach is across the street. You picked up the Free Tram right behind the house. We never moved our cars & we walked to everywhere. We each had our own bedroom with ensuite. My grandchildren & my sons utilized the pool, hot tub, ping pong table & pool table. I would definitely rent again.

Dirty with Cockroaches
Upon arrival at 1:30 pm cleaning service was already gone. I called Caroline the property manager to tell her that the key pad was not working. She seemed surprised that the cleaning crew was already gone and irritated with me that I even bothered her with a phone call. She was very short with me on the phone, needless to say we did not bother her again the rest of the week. First thing I noticed was a large pile of clean wet towels on top of the washing machine and a large load of dry towels in the dryer. Yes, we had to finish the cleaning crews laundry upon our arrival. It is a large beautiful home that was comfortable for 6 couples each bedroom having their own private bathroom was a definite plus. Large living room with balcony was nice for all of us to gather. However, the house was dirty! Pool area was full of piles of leaves, empty plastic cups and drink buckets from local bars were laying on the ground pool area upon our arrival. Floors were filthy and gritty with sand. The bottom of your feet were black from walking around the house barefoot. As if that was not bad enough the Cockroaches started making them selves comfortable around the house. We found them not only throughout the kitchen, in bedrooms, bathrooms, everywhere! I even opened a kitchen drawer and one was sitting in there. Which tells me they are crawling on the silverware and dishes! It is a very beautiful home however I feel their cleaning crew is cutting corners and taking advantage of them. They also need to have the house sprayed regularly for Cockroaches.

Great place for family to gather
Very nice house, large enough for all 12 of us to spread out. We didn’t figure out how to control the pool till the last day after lots of trial and error but except for that is was a great location for the tram and trolley and just a short walk to the beach. Would Love to go again seeming now I know how to get the pool water heated.

Perfect house for our family of 12!
This house is amazing. Perfect location to the beach and so many restaurants and bars and shopping. We had a great week and everyone had their own bedroom with bathroom. The pool and hot tub are awesome! Of course the weather didn’t disappoint as we had upper 70s and 80s all week. Plenty of chairs in the dining/ kitchen area for us all to dine together. Beautiful house with a great location
We absolutely loved staying here. The house is beautiful and is a great location. Easy walk to the beach and Times Square. We got full use of the large kitchen and dining room. So much potential but lacking
This property has so much to offer. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants and bars, a pier and shops near by, accommodate large families, open kitchen; however, the house is not well kept. Several outdoor fans and lights are not working, pool table is broken, foosball table rusty and broken, hazardous cable hanging in the outdoor area, majority of blinds are broken, poor lighting in the pool area (especially with kids around), grill was not clean. At check in, our code did not work so we decided to call the property manager and she seemed annoyed by our call. When setting up the sofa bed for one of my kids, we noticed dust and dirt in between the folds. We went to Walmart to buy an inflatable mattress. Some of the blankets had musty smell like they haven’t been washed in a while. During our stay, a thunderstorm blew up the street power lines of the house. We had no other option than to call the property manager again. Once again she was very annoyed and aggravated by our phone call. We needed to cook dinner especially for the kids and the heat was becoming unbearable. We had to call her several times to ask for updates. Finally after 5 hours, the power company showed up and fix the lines right away. Lastly, our last day, the AC stopped working but we didn’t want to deal with Carol again so we took it upon ourselves and fix it. This is a great property with a very deficient property management company that doesn’t take care of the houses. I would not recommend renting any properties from Luxury Vacation Rentals. Plenty of other properties to choose from and with the same accommodations.

Great Family Vacation!
The house was fantastic! There was plenty of room for the 14 members of our family. All adults and kids had their own bedroom and bathroom, so no one had to share a room. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and the beach wagon and cart were very much appreciated, using them instead of carrying everything! The pool was just the right size for everyone and the grandkids used it every day and enjoyed using the pool toys as well. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and the grill worked for all our grillied meals. We actually only went out to eat for 2 evening meals, the rest of the time we cooked our meals. The best thing was the awesome supply of towels and beach towels! All in all I would say that our family vacation was an huge success and a fabulous time was had by all in Ft. Myers Beach! I would definitely recommend this house for a large group! I would most likely rent this property again.

Pluses: Beautiful home, very clean, best stocked rental ever! Pool was a great plus! Problems were handled quickly: Pool cues needed tips, needed brownie pans, we needed beach chairs and wagon/cart, rain came in pool room windows. Negatives: Lots of roaches. Black mold in the drain hole in the sink in the upstairs bathroom facing the pool. Replaced faucet, but that wasn't the whole problem. Sink needs replacing or cleaning out! Smell was overwhelming when we got there when you ran water. I tried cleaning it out somewhat. Needs privacy curtain in middle floor bathroom.

House is starting to be in need of repairs.
Overall good, however I requested a broom, light bulbs to be replaced, and a toilet that would not stop running in addition to a battery that needed replaced in a smoke alarm. When maintenance came they made smoke alarm stop beeping and told us would be back next day but never came. Bed sheets and comforters getting very worn. Lot of beach supplies broken and no tips on pool sticks. Would be a wonderful house with a little attention to maintenance.

Nice house good location good beach access . Good for small children pool is on lower deck. We had 12 adults 3 toddlers you will need a baby gate and there is not a beach cart as described in the description. The furnishings need to be updated. Kitchen well stocked. overall a positive experience.

Beautiful house but needs some essentials fixed ASAP
Lots of issues in this house. Apparently the owner lives in Germany and is not fixing things or maintaining things with property manager. Not my problem because I didn’t get any kind of discount as a result. They had to bring me decent cookware because none of it was usable. The umbrellas and chairs in garage - lots of it broken, patio lounge chairs need to be cleaned, bbq grill needs to be cleaned, toilet seat in king sized bedroom needs to be replaced, pool area umbrella needs to be replaced. I asked for new umbrellas for beach and never received them. They also didn’t address toilet seat. Ants coming in from that same bathroom with toilet seat from a seam by the shower door.

i am sory that you were unhappy with some of the items in the home. Your requests were met immediately. Lawn chairs are cleaned regularly but the birds are attracted to them. There were ample beach chairs and the broken ones have been replaced. The large umbrella was wind damaged and has been removed. The house is sprayed for bugs on a regular basis. The Florida climate is such that you will have ants occasionally. The patio furniture is being updated.

Excellent Spring Break Getaway
We stayed mid March 2021 during spring break. The accommodations were excellent. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The fenced-in pool and hot tub the perfect spot for gathering as a family. There are two additional levels of covered patio seating overlooking the pool which were great for playing games and enjoying the weather. The proximity to the beach was very handy for day trips, sunset walks and being able to run back to the house for meals (beach access is literally across the street). There are several restaurants and shops in very close walking distance (less than 1/4 mile) and we we walked everywhere except the grocery store which is about 2 miles away). We took the majority of our meals in the house. If you are a serious cook, you may find you are lacking in large pots and pans. Otherwise, the kitchen was well appointed and the patio grill worked great. The house sleeps up to 16. There are bedroom beds enough for 12. We did not use the sleeper sofas, instead favored the air mattresses available on the property. It was a great family vacation.

Annual Friendship house
We absolutely love the location and how the house fits our group, we have 12 adults that love the beach, nightlife and all the house has to offer. My wife recently had hip surgery and the elevator was perfect! Only negatives, toilet did not work well in upper master and the TV in the upper Queen.

Fantastic Family Vacation!
What a wonderful house for our family. Everyone had their own bathroom and the outside shower was great as well. So close to the beach and fun town square! Amazing!

Loved it
Great today loved everything just wish maybe the pool was clean And un covered but not a big issue I guess my biggest issue would be instructions on how to run pool hot tub but otherwise no complaints just to the owner could use a new couch in the main living room Love how it was set up as far as bedrooms and bathrooms great

Perfect for family
Everyone enjoyed the house. The pool and spa was a big hit. The beach being near was also a hit. They also liked the nice tv.
