This property used to be the old Expressway Inn in Fargo. I wish you would have referenced this on the ad or on your website, as if I knew I would’ve never stayed there. And furthermore, I can’t believe that a major hotel chain would put their name on a property that so dilapidated The price was very high, for in my opinion, a half star hotel. This hotel is in disrepair. The ceiling tiles are all water stained, and some of them are even boughing, the bathrooms are gross, the carpets stained, and I had dirty bedsheets on one of the beds in my room. We had talked to another guest in the lobby and he had the same experience with having dirty bed sheets. We waited for almost 20 minutes for staff to arrive to check us in for our stay. I do not recommend anybody ever stay there. I wish I could get my money back.

4 different keys wouldn't work in the door. Tiles in the ceiling had water damage and some other points they were gone and wires showing. Never even saw the room. No changing table to change the diaper of our 5 month year old in the lobby after we wait 20 minutes to get into the room that we never got into and another 15 trying to figure keys out. We ended up driving 2 ½ hours back to Bismarck cuz we were so mad

I always stay in the affordable hotels. I’m not a rich man, I take what I can get. So every time I book a hotel I’m slightly nervous that I’ll be in a flea bag. But I’m almost always pleasantly surprised. This time my fears were actualized. Starting the second I walked in & had to wait TWENTY minutes for any staff member to come up to the desk. I’d been on the road for quite a while & was eager to get checked in so I could use the restroom. I had to wander around the hotel and find their public bathroom & the pungent old urine smell in it was like a punch in the face. I finally got checked in & the room smelled bad, there were gross looking long streaks all down the mirror, the sheet was stained (I don’t want to know what it was). I don’t think they cleaned anything, but it was especially evident that they didn’t clean the sink- there was hair in it and what was left when someone dumped coffee or soda in it, debris all over the floor & the flat tops of everything (fridge, etc). I never expect anything to be perfect, but there was honestly nothing appealing about this place. I would’ve gone elsewhere but after being on the road all day, I just didn’t want to deal with the hassle of making a fuss & being moved to another room that was probably just as bad, or worse- having to book at a different hotel and fight for a refund from this one. I didn’t dare go into the pool after seeing the state of my room. Also, the layout here is bizarre & it was hard to even find my room

This was a very fine motel back in 1960's when I went to college in Fargo. Now it is not worthy of the Baymont name. The room was very hot when we checked in. Following the instructions on how to get it cooler nothing worked. We suffered through the night. Upon telling the front desk about the problem when we checked out his answer. was " we know the temp control in the west wing is not working" yet they put people into that wing and charged $175 for the night. I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. I'll sleep in my car before I would stay there again.

I rented the room so my girlfriend and I could enjoy the hot tub and pool. Pool was cold and the hot tub was about the temperature that the pool should have been and the jets wouldn't stay on when you pushed the button. Did not use either one of them. They were both too cool to use. The balcony off of the room was full of overran vines so couldn't enjoy that either. It was a good place to stay if you were only looking for a place to sleep and nothing else. The room itself was good, unfortunately the rest of the place didn't work for what I was looking for.

This hotel is more a bar and casino with rooms. It does not appear to look like a hotel. Huge signs stating not responsible for lost or stolen property. No one was at the counter for a long time, no way to contact when they would come back at the desk. There was a tiny faded sign at the desk that could not be read. Multiple used keys at the counter. Felt very unsafe. After no service at desk we left. so cannot rate cleanilness of the rooms, the entry and lobby was not the cleanest from what was seen. You pull up and it is dark and looks like a strip joint. When asked for a refund the person said no cancel policy. Even though we arrived with no help. Shady business if you're asking.]

Unfortunately, we did not stay. The room was filthy. The beds looked like the had been slept in previously and the sheets were dirty. Floors were also very dirty.

The place smelled horrible, stale and musty plus old smoke. Carpets were pulling away from the walls. It was dirty. Not sure when they last vacuumed. Cigarette burns in the carpet and on the bath tub. Bath tub wouldn’t drain. My husband couldn’t shower after I did because the water was too deep and might have run over. Only one wash cloth for two people. Hair drier had a broken socket that should have plugged into the outlet. I did try it but the hair dryer didn’t turn on until I wiggled the wires! Can’t believe nobody hasn’t been electrocuted yet! After making coffee I went to make a second pot and when I emptied the grounds there was black stuff that was stuck to the coffee ground packet! Absolutely gross! I had a function to go to and didn’t get to dry and fix my hair, plus my husband had to take a towel like sponge bath. Shower head sprayed all directions including sideways and you couldn’t adjust it! It was terrible! I would give a zero rating! I would like a complete refund if you could tell me how to do that. Even though it did have Direct-TV throughout the hotel, but at least it's very nice to be along the interstate and it's very easy to do everything around town. Also, the bar looks very good and the patio looks great.

Do not stay here. This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. The baseboards were filthy. Carpet was dirty. Old gum on the headboard of the bed. The hallway was freezing cold and our room was humid like a pool. The bed / blanket smelt clean, so that’s a plus.

Called the front desk at 7 in the morning because of the sound coming from our toilet while someone above us was showering, 5 min go by and then our bathtub was filled halfway with raw sewage and nothing was done when we called and brought the front desk down and even after he called the manager, no refund offered or anything but a new room to shower

The hotel is old and icky. The curtains were stained and had food on them. The bathtub was dirty. The shower wouldn’t drain. The floor was dirty. Our heat was broke is it was 80+ in our room. The pictures made the place look great, but it wasn’t so much. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Run down. Only one desk clerk. Took 40 minutes to check in due to clerk not being there and no one answering phone. Mattress was damp (don't even want to know). Shower drain not working so standing in water. Come out of shower and toilet overflowed ( must be main drain issue). When all reported to front desk note added to notebook. No apology. No discount. Wanted to at least grab some hot water for tea before i left and of course that was empty. Don't bother going here. Oh forgot one more thing. Leaving and i see broken liquor bottles in parking lot all around my car. Stay away!

Run down and poor management
February 2024. You will see a very run down hotel. The whole place smelled like Pine Sol. They put a $50 deposit on my card incase of damages which I was told I would get back at check out. Not sure how this will play out but unless they do a room inspection at checkout, why would they put a fee on my card and return it at checkout. I found vines growing through one of the outside doors. The hot tub was shut down by the city of Fargo do to some health issue. The mirror frame in the bathroom was hanging off. The tissue container was empty. The faucet leaks water onto the counter. The hallways were extremely cold. I parked in the back where my room was and the door would unlock but would still not open so I had to walk around to the side entry. I stayed here cause it was cheap and I needed a bed and a shower. I will say it was a quite place and the shower was good. The tv worked along with the fridge. I wouldn’t bring my family here tho. Overall experience was ok. Hope management makes some serious improvements in the future. Room 126

It smelled of pot when I walked in. The lobby was dingy. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked in, with only 2 people ahead of me. The bathroom smelled dank and the flooring was bubbling up. There was a door at the back of the room with a lock on it that we couldn't open and we had no idea where it went. It wasn't clear upon booking that it was a motel so we were surprised to have an exterior entrance to our room. There's nothing about this place I would recommend. If the entire town hadn't been booked up for the weekend we would've found different accommodations.

Terrible. Just terrible. They had let our room go when we got there so we were upgraded to a “superior room”. Not sure what was superior. Wifi did not work. 3 channels on the tv. Water warped door in the bathroom. Smoke detector in our room was clearly broken- it was off it’s holder. Freezing in the hallways. Staff was not helpful. Breakfast was terrible. Barely slept a wink because the whole place smelled and felt unsafe. Do not stay here!!!
