Charming Suffolk accommodation
We stayed for just one night. The room had a pleasant yesteryear charm and a lovely view of the village church and Hall grounds. Breakfast served in the dining room was cooked to order and served with the charming wit of our host. We will return to experience more of this wonderful home.

One of the most unique places we've ever stayed. The Hall is on 2000 acres of estate with wonderful walking trails. Your host is Lady Henniker-Major, who greets you and provides a wonderful breakfast experience. There have been halls on this site since medieval times (the current one was built in 1956) so there is a real sense of history here. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It's not over-the-top luxurious (forget Downton Abbey) but it's quite cosy and welcoming.

Staying at Thornham Hall is a pleasure. This is the 2nd time staying there and we will always pick this lovely place each time we travel to Horham Air Museum.

Wonderful retreat in the country surrounded by wildlife and walks, old world pubs serving amazing food. The lady of Thornham Hall is truly one of the friendliest hosts you could ever meet. The whole break is a home from home. It’s our second stay and we will return again and again 😎

Excellent - something different
A truly lovely stay just with a very attentive host, with nothing being too much trouble for. The room was lovely with wonderful views over parklands and the bed was so comfortable. Overall a great place to stay, it was as if Lesley (host) had just opened her house to us.I just wish we had more reasons to return to the area so we could stay there again. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thornham Hall, it was everything we were hoping for as we were spending a few days away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Beautiful location and accommodation, such a comfortable bed too, and topped off by Lesley, our host who was so welcoming and cooked us a super breakfast each morning, a delightful place to stay. Superb, would definitely return.

Rare rural treat
It would be a shame to give away the surprise that is a Thornham Hall, more an exclusive B and B than country hotel. Warm welcome from the owner of this 18th century family home set in very pretty and peaceful grounds. Charming room with luxe en suite, delicious cooked breakfast at table overlooked by ancestral portraits. Go for this unique overnight experience.

Peaceful location set amongst tranquil woods in an idyllic setting. We received a warm welcome and the room was very comfortable. No negatives points. Perfect spot to escape from your cares and relax. Excellent nearby restaurant the Auberge and don't miss the thatched church.

What a peaceful stay.
Our stay was totally stress free. I have to commend the scrambled eggs with salmon for breakfast. It was a beautiful sunny morning when we stayed and walking around the grounds with a light frost was very refreshing. When you stay you will fall in live with Kaiser, go and stay and you will see what I mean. If you are in the area I recommend you stay here it is a unique lication with a unique host.

Lovely grounds and relaxed atmosphere
We stayed here for two nights in July 2017. On arrival we were warmly greeted and given tea and cake in the garden; a garden that stretches out for acres and where horses, rabbits, pheasant and peacocks dwell. A very pleasant setting and a lovely way to start our stay. We were given the suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The Lady of the house is easy-going, fun and unpretentious and made us feel most at home. My favourite part of any trip away, the cooked breakfast, was very good here and was served in the dining room with a view of the garden and grounds. You can tuck into your bacon and eggs and watch horses and peacocks amble by. Really very pleasant. I thoroughly recommend a stay at Thornham Hall.

1950's quirky home., charming but elements of slight faded glory and English eccentric decor are evident. A little overpriced. Welcoming but not a re - visit for us I'm afraid, despite a delightful bed and agreeable breakfast.
